  2. Good God Yes. Like you I have a lot of drive time and frankly I tire of the same three songs and the same two opinions on the radio. If it were not for audio book I would go mad (I know, go?). I have a partial list of audio books I have read at Goodreads. There are only 13 books listed there because I just started tracking my reading through Goodreads and I am unsure of which older books I read and which I listened too. The links to my page are: http://www.goodreads.com/user/show/2532066 (main page) http://www.goodreads.com/review/list/2532066?shelf=audio (audio books) As for websites, I can try and summon up some if you are interested (I don’t have all my research materials with me at this time, but I can get them); the afore mentioned LibriVox is good. I would also recommend Project Gutenberg’s audio selection: http://www.gutenberg.org/wiki/Gutenberg:The_Audio_Books_Project As for specific books, I am partial to listening to history, biography, and scholarly/educational works. Things I don’t have the time to read usually – keeps the horizons broadened. And on that note, anyone else have a Goodreads account? I would love to see what the other DGN members are reading. Might give me some ideas Well, I must be off. TTFN.

  5. If the vacation was approved I do not see how they could fire her. I take Halloween off every year, never had a problem. We will see what comes of this – I suspect her former employer will have a different reason they will give for terminating her; but they will have to substantiate their claim. You cannot just say someone was tardy or rude – they will need to have documentation to prove there was a problem and they tried to address it. Too bad she didn’t have a pocket recorder so she could capture the ‘devil worshipper’ crap for posterity. That would be sweet AND it would probably get her a nice settlement. Be Well.

  9. Damn, you are right! So Beaker was actually a ghoul! Of course! It all makes perfect sense now! That poor principal, thinking banning their call would save him from becoming just another bit of meat on the student's cafeteria table! Mwahahaha (chough)!
  10. You Are a Memorable Wedding You Are a Memorable Wedding For you, love is whimsical and delightful. You believe love should be celebrated often, and in the most indulgent manner possible. To be unloved would make you feel uninspired and depressed. Love is what ultimately motivates and excites you. Romantic love makes you feel lighthearted and full of joy. Even if you've been in love with someone for a while, you still feel like you did when you first fell in love. Your soulmate makes you happier than any person you know. You're likely to fall the person who makes you smile, laugh, and feel young again.
  11. Border Patrol Officer?

Yea, gotta keep the damn reprobates from south of the boarder (which based upon your location I will assume is around the 45th parallel) location from getting in – they’ll ruin the neighborhood ;)

    Welcome to the forums!

According to Archer, a white woman who had sex with a black man and a white man within a short time subsequently gave birth to twins:one white, one mulatto. http://tinyurl.com/yhl3d7q The Wikipedia article also points out this is a not-uncommon motif in mythology. 19. Motorized La-Z-Boy Man, I love people. This is just classic! I wonder what kind of insurance you need to carry on a street-legal La-Z-Boy? Collision, liability, and upholstery? And on that, just what would you have to do to make one street legal? And the emissions, how many MPG would a fleet be required to have? God, please stop me.
