  2. Funny you should mention feet and cheese together. The bacteria that makes your feet stink is the same one used to make Limburger. God the fact that I know that hurts! I am such a Geek! http://tinyurl.com/yhrdnxn Be Well.
  3. The Last Man On Earth (1964) - Full Movie

    It’s available free at YouTube:

(it is the best of the lot! Price is better than either Heston or Smith – and the story is handled better! No happy ending here!)

  5. Good God! Is there an ounce of creativity left in Hollyweird? This isn’t even relevant now – back in 1984 the Soviets were a credible (if overblown) threat. Now neither the Russians nor the Chinese (Who hate each other way more than they hate us BTW) have any desire to invade the US. The Russians, well the most they want to do is dominate our drug trade and organized criminal networks – the Chinese just want to sell us crappy lead-based toys and toxic milk substitutes. But actually invade? I guess they don’t have the stones to make a relevant flick – like an invasion by Middle Eastern fanatics; or even more likely by those damn Canadians and their oh-so superior health care. The Great White horde is poised right above us, and yet we sleep as if they don’t hate us and want to rape our men and force a single-payer system upon us! Wake up! But seriously, another crappy remake. I know the money in the local economy is good, I just wish they were doing somthing worthwhile - still the money is a good thing. Taking money from the criminally stupid is a noble and just occupation. Be Well.
  6. Very cool.

    Be Well.

  7. After thinking about the pictures a bit more, particularly the one Jynxxx mentioned with the bit of a pooch, I have decided the photographer should be beaten with a stick. To get that skin flap he/she/it/whatever had to either be stupid (it isn’t really flattering, and she is a lovely lady) or trying to get it that way. A slight turn, a 1/2' inch curve to the back and it would vanish. Maybe they wanted it for some fetish stuff, but I doubt it. I think they were just careless. We have several photographers here (particularly thinking of DVS here [ http://www.detroitgothic.net/index.php?showuser=3871 ], check out his work if you have not yet – he is very, very good) and I would love for him or another photographer to chime in – tell me if I am full of crap or correct. As for the widening load, yes people all over are getting fatter (I am one of them, though actually I have been stable for decades. Still fat, but stable). Our ideal has shrunk to impossible standards (some people can be a size 0, most could not reach that unless they were three weeks dead and eaten by crocodiles). Fit is good, best – but beauty isn’t confined to anorexic heroin addicts or those androgynous boy-like females with silicone-augmentations. There is something a little off about a person who looks like a pre-pubescent boy with huge… well its kind of weird. Not always bad, I can be a pervert (I am male, that’s a given), but it’s strange. Be Well.
  8. I thought the community might find this amusing. I thought it was a scream. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rKM_JlCIMak
  9. Yes, love is worth it. I think brandywine0880 hit some valid points – infatuation and lust are nice, but they are not love and too many people confuse them. You have to take chances, risk. Love will not find the timid or the meek, at least note easily. Use your mind, but trust your guts. Sometimes you will be hurt, and sometimes that will be from the people you love. Sometimes you need the hurt to grow, or to realize how much you have screwed things up. Don’t like cheaters, but when everyone is aware of and approves of a situation (swingers and the such) – hey if it works for them good. No single solution fits every one – but lying to those who you say you love is a copout. Be Well.
  10. Hello. Nice to meet you.

The Cove looks gruesome and important – thank you for the tip. I had not heard of it before seeing your topic on it.

  11. God, I thought stuff like that was behind us. Not normally a fan of activist's movies, most are for crap – but this one, well I have to see it and support the cessation of this practice. I may have to wait for the DVD or on-demand (broke is my natural financial state) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Cove_(film)
  12. Deal Lord, I love the bunny!

    That poor, poor balloon ;)

  13. MST – it would be more challenging. Oh well, I love the art (art Whore am I).

Beyond Belief – I will have to see if I can get a copy.

I adore Sagan, Pale Blue Dot and Demon-Haunted World were some of my favorites.

It’s a bit unrelated, but have you read “The Hot Zone” or “Demon in the Freezer”? Both are non-fiction by Richard Preston, and...

  14. Oh yes, far better than either remake – both of which are way too hopeful. Price’s version has a dark ending that makes sense.

Anyway, Rob Zombie has a new version of Halloween 2 coming out soon. I love Zombie, but I generally hate remakes. And a sequel to a remake based upon the squil to the original? Colour me skeptical.

  15. Vampires an unhealthy obsession? How can that be – nothing wrong with savage predatory sexual sublimation. I have your website bookmarked and I plan to peruse it when I have some time; and yes I would adore reading anything else you have.

Be well, and I hope to hear more from you.

PS: a link of interest (I hope)

  16. Eros – Eris

Damnit, I got it wrong! Crud!

That’s what I get for copy/paste from some random site.

Well, I got it wrong and thus introduced chaos into the equation – so in a perverse way I did good… or is it well?

Okay I am confused now. You Discordia’s and your mind tricks! The Jedi have nothing on you guys ;)

    Be Well

  17. Sorry Jynxxx, no can do. I access the net quite often from work, and my employer has a strict no IM/PM policy. I do, however, respond always to e-mails and to any comments left at my profile here.

I have no secrets, save my real name and my actual location (for most any way. For some, including you, it’s not so hard and fast of a rule).

So fire away. I’m easy ;)

  18. Concerning prayer and use of Church Venues: I agree, this is insane. We had prayer before every football game, also differing denominations and (on several occasions remember it was the early 80s in the DEEP South) we had a Rabbi. I always thought it was nice, harmless. On proselytizing in class: No, against decorum even if it isnt illegal. Choices must be made freely, sans any kind of coercion. Educators who violate this should be warned, fined, censured, and (if they do not cease) terminated. Teachers handbook: Yep, that phrase should be removed. Just drop the Christian and it would probably be okay. As for separate events for Christian students: I thought there was some kind of thing about that in the Constitution. Freedom of Association I think. Why yes, there it is: http://tinyurl.com/6as4v Imagine an event you wish to participate in is advertised on a flyer, and some of those fliers end up in a school. Imagine a teacher at that school is a participant in the event (maybe they play in a band during their free time). Should that teacher be fired or jailed? No. Then the same goes for the Christians. Let them go and have their little pious masturbatory jerk-off how does that harm you? Hell, gives them someplace to go away from you thats win-win in my book. Not letting the Class President speak at Graduation: Oh the HORROR! Shes CHRISTIAN! She MIGHT say something RELIGIOUS! Oh the Humanity! Minerva Save us! I think stuff like that is also mentioned in the Constitution. Oh yes, the same First Amendment that protects assembly protects religion and speech! But we cannot allow THE CHILDREN to be exposed to something like this! Save them! On Protesting: If that’s how you want to spend you time, go for it. You could have a wonderful future in politics. I oppose the Government censuring and jailing people, not private protests. Now this is a case of Government censuring Government, and some of the points are valid – but some are asinine. Frankly, rather than protesting, I would rather have kinky sex and sacrifice a few goats – but I’m funny that way. Well, I must be off. So many people to annoy, so little time.
  19. Thanks Jynxxx – it’s a nice place.

Be well my friend. Talk to you later.

  20. Interesting, well I am not really that. Interested, that I am – not that that is always a good thing. Fleas are interested in dogs after all. Still it’s good to meet you.

  21. Ancient civilizations and languages – well I am a dabbler in them. I would love to learn Nahuatl – but so far I haven’t found it on Rosetta Stone ;)

  22. I also suffer from what many consider an excess of curiosity. Personally I think a lack of curiosity is a sigh of a defective mind – which oddly does not endear me to people without much curiosity. Curious that.
