  1. I don't think we are going after all...it costs a bit too much and we are finding that there are things we need to get done here at home. Plus I do have concerns about the organization of the event. But I do hope it goes well. I am looking forward to hearing how it went.
  2. I have run into stuck up people at both CC and Necto. They are everywhere... But I have also run into nice people at both CC and Necto.
  3. Does anyone know why it was at Eagle Theater instead of Crofoot Ballroom? The Crofoot website and the tickets said Crofoot Ballroom I think.
  4. Reynolds and I did not care for the opening band much either.
  5. We have two extra tickets...the people we had invited to go with us are not able to make it. We are offering them for $10 each. Call my husband, Reynolds, at 248-622-0515 if you are interested.
  6. Just reiterating what was said above: Cleaner. Relatively safer parking. Not charging smokers when they go outside. Air conditioning in the summer.
  7. I had a blast yesterday! A lot of people were there and fun things to see! lol. Adam West was charging $60! I had heard that there was a line at his table, but once people heard about the fee the line dissipated. lol. I did get a peek at him, he was wearing sunglasses. Marina Sirtis looked good, so did Linda Blair. But I did not want to pay that much money just to say hi to them. I kinda felt bad for Todd Bridges because no one was at his table. Well, when I walked by there wasn't anyone there...maybe later on he had some fans stop by.
  8. I will be going on Saturday. I have been to a couple of Star Trek conventions before, but this is my first Comic Con.
  9. Just heard that Necto is giving away Covenant tickets all night on Monday.
  10. Shoot. He just posted on his Facebook wall " Sorry Detroit, it didn't work out this time around. :("
  11. Me too!!! Let him know!!! And pass it along to anyone else who would like to see him!
  12. You can let him know on MySpace: http://www.myspace.com/voltairenyc Or through his website: http://www.voltaire.net
  13. Voltaire is currently looking at possibly booking a show in Detroit and is gauging interest. If anyone would like to see him perform here let him know on his Facebook page! http://www.facebook.com/Voltairenyc
  14. Really looking forward to this! It is only a week and a half away!!!
  15. I love it!!! I want the open bottom girdle version of that.
  16. I never liked zombies much...I find them to be the idiots of the horror genre. I have always preferred vampires (no...not Twilight crap either)...I find vampires sexier, more intelligent and intriguing. Zombies are not interesting to me at all. I am not trying to bash either, but I am puzzled as to the popularity of zombies. Although I did enjoy the movie "Fido".
  17. I wasn't able to go. But you took some great shots! Thanks for sharing!
  18. I enjoy Autorama and usually would spend most of my time in the basement too...on the Rat Rod and Rockabilly side. Unfortunately I don't think I will be able make it out this year...I have too much going on this weekend. Here is a fun photo from last year's Autorama:
  19. I will be performing an exciting new number in honor of Johnny Cash! I heard that doors will actually be at 7pm. But the performances will likely not start until after 9pm.
  20. I know!!! I mentioned to him on the way home that I thought you were going to be there, and he said he saw you.
