  1. Douglas. It's always about the backdoor with you. Nice! Is that a pic of Christopher drawing himself on a shirt?
  2. You better make it out man! What are you interning for exactly?
  3. Wow, this is the first time I've actually heard Lady Gaga. Awful is in understatement!
  4. It would be awesome to see some more DGN members out! We have presale tickets available for the show. The Eagle Theater is only a 600 capacity venue and will probably sell out soon. A response or a pm to me is all it'll take for tickets!
  5. To close out the summer The Eagle Theatre will be hosting three of the heaviest hitters in the Detroit area. You've seen them on their own - but now for one night only; Pillar of Autumn, Effigy and Forest Wade will be coming together for this summer's must see concert event. On Saturday, September 5th the place to be is The Eagle Theatre, part of the Crofoot complex in downtown Pontiac. 15 South Saginaw, Pontiac, MI 48342. Just a $10 ticket ($12 at the door) gets you in, where you'll experience Forest Wade, who are no strangers to the stage. With their high-powered brand of rock, somewhat reminiscent of Sound Garden with a touch southern flavor - it's rock through and through. Effigy takes the best of the last few decades of rock and roll, and rolls it into their own sound. They've been compared to Queen and Led Zeppelin - but don't be fooled. These guys have a current sound that is only theirs. Pillar of Autumn rounds out the evening with their extremely animated live show. One of the most talked about bands in the Detroit area - they'll be playing tracks from their new EP; Burn This City - as well as old favorites and brand new music! You've heard the stories, now come see what these guys are like in the flesh! The powerhouse rhythm, the captivating guitar work, and the unmistakable vocals of this band hold their own against the on stage antics that have been the buzz of the area. The venue is one block North of the Phoenix Amphitheater, 6 Blocks South of M-59 (Huron Street) and located in the center of the Wide Track Loop (Woodward Loop). The Crofoot is directly across the street from a large secure parking lot, and on the same block as Tiki Bob's Cantina, Tonic, and The Eagle Theatre (formerly Industry Nightclub).

  7. Here are a few photo edit/manipulations I've done before.
  8. Both are welcome in my book. Of course, the scene fans are a little more welcome. It is a little annoying when a lot of people take off right before you play. But if you're up there because you love playing, it's all the same. I've always thought the bands have the ability to change situations like this. Play smaller bills and become choosy about the bands that play them. If all of the bands highly recommend the other bands on a bill, people will stay. If you treat the show like it's your show and the other bands just happen to be there, more people won't care.
  9. Hey guys, I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Frank. I'm the drummer for Pillar of Autumn. I'm a big fan of a lot of local bands. Some of my favorites are: The Koffin Kats Bat On Fire Champions of Breakfast Lies Unknown Columbine Otto Vector The Pilz The Muggs Schaeffer The Transfer Forest Wade Effigy The Nice Device Group Therapy ... and plenty more I haven't been a member of a forum for quite a long time. I really didn't have any plans of getting back into it until I came across this site. Hopefully you'll see a lot of me!
