About Me

I said I would do it later - AND BEHOLD! :D

I've been in Michigan almost my whole life, with the exception of a short period when I lived in Kentucky with my grandmother. I don't particularly like it here, but who does? And I haven't really found anywhere that is 100% good, so I figured I'm here, may as well enjoy it while it lasts.

I'm here because my awesome BF - Invictus - recommended that I join. I find it hard to be very active in forums, so I'll most likely float in and out whenever I feel like it. It sends me an email when I get a message or friend request, and that usually reminds me to come on back for a while lol.

I've been 'different' for as long as I could remember. My mother stifled it, which pretty much served to fuel my desire for it when I finally struck out on my own. I guess I like the fashion and attitude the most. Not the whiny pesudo-goths of today and City Club (sorry, that's the majority when I go - prove me wrong.) but the actual genuine embrasure of the difference that thrives within us all.

Sure, I feel like an animal in a zoo when I go out in public with my different clothes and prisma-colored hair, but at least I'm not hiding behind the mask of 'normality' that I see on parade. I don't have a problem with people who consider themselves normal - unless they have a problem with me.

Not to say I really like all goths, either. I get odd stares for not being goth enough, not being into the things that goths 'should' be into, not dating someone who is goth enough - WTF is that noise? Not here to please, just here to be me.

Deal :)
