  1. So sick of a few of the whiny bitches in my KM class. Apparently, I hit too hard.
  2. Totally agree. If you want to burn fat, lift weights and do cardio. Preferably cardio before weights.

  4. Went to the gym. Ran 5 minutes to warm up. 14 minutes of HIIT on the treadmill, 1 minute at 6mph, 1 minute at 4mph. I lifted weights as well.
  5. personally, I don't give a shit. If they want to feel me up or look at my body via scanner, so be it.
  6. I didn't get to the gym today so I did some Tabata training (another form of HIIT) for 8 minutes. I have an interval timer from gymboss. I did four minutes of squats and four minutes of kettlebell swings with my 20lb kettlebell. I need to do this workout more often. I read that it doesn't need to be a long workout to even be effective.
  7. I loved that HIIT class. It's taught by one of the KM instructors and I will be going again this week for sure. I work tonight so depending on how I feel I might go to kickboxing in the morning. If not, I'm not doing anything til Tuesday night when I have KM class.

  9. I went to a HIIT class today. It was pretty awesome. It was thirty minutes of intense work. I'm still having a problem with my calories. I have been only eating 1200 calories per day and I think that its very low for the amount of exercise I do each week. So for the rest of this week and next, I'm going to eat 1600 calories on the days I workout, 1200 on days I am not, just to see how it goes.

  12. I loves me protein. I get about 120grams per day. A little more than what is recommended (60-80 grams I believe) but I absorb it differently. Yeah it can damage my kidneys, eventually, but I drink 3-3.5 liters of water per day. I don't think my kidneys are having any issues yet. Anyhow, is there any certain way I should be splitting up my weight-training. I can't go every day and was doing a full body routine 3 days a week. Should I split upper and lower body between the days?
  13. My back and shoulders hurt from sparring in class last night. It was fun though.
  14. It should. I spent half my childhood in River Rouge, it's a small town...I think.
  15. Muscle burns fat. Lift weights. Cardio is good but will not burn as much fat as weight-training will.
  16. 12gm of protein is too little. The average female needs around 60gm.
  17. Dammit, someone beat me to it but I was going to say Disturbed. Any/every song that I have ever heard by them sounds exactly the same. I hate the singer's voice, it's fucking annoying. Drowning Pool is another band I can't stand. I am sick of hearing "let the bodies hit the floor".... Can't stand CombiChrist either.
