Well, I had gastric bypass back in May so I was only taking in 700-900 calories the first 6 months because my new stomach being so small, only held an ounce of food at a time. After six months, it grows a bit to accomodate the body's needs. I last saw my doc in Sept., my labs are fine, mind you I have to take vitamins the rest of my life. Don't worry, I'm fine as long as I get adequate protein, keep taking my vitamins and drinking my water. I can contact my nutritionist any time, she usually gets back to me very quickly and she's the one that I go to with dietary stuff and she works closely with my doc.
