  1. I miss sushi, there isn't any good sushi places downriver. And what the hell the is tripe?
  2. LOL good for you. Tips I got from the dialysis tech who is a personal trainer... 1. drink lots of water 2. lift weights at least three times a week 3. More weight, less reps. He said to just do ten reps. 4. Cardio for at least 30 minutes before weights. So I'm gonna give this a try. I'm trying to tone up. He told me after I get toned, I can decrease the amount of weight I lift and do more reps. Workout buddies are great but I prefer to go it alone.
  3. Darn too bad I couldn't make it out there last night, I just wanted to see if Der Nister was recovering from his beating Kat gave him the other night.
  4. Worked last night, cancelled my shift for tonight. Still feel like shit.
  5. I'm sick, I have to work tonight and I'm going to miss The Witching Hour...
  6. I'm hoping I feel better by Monday so I can go to Krav that night. I haven't worked out all week.

  10. I'm shy and quiet around people I don't know. It takes me a while to warm up to new people then after that I'm more outgoing.

  12. Feeling much better. Just woke up from a four hour nap that was much needed.
  13. I doubt they'll put this guy in front of a firing squad. Apparently he is paralyzed from the waist down.
  14. It is but it's such a great workout. I go to The Fighting Fit in Wyandotte. They will let you sit in on a class and watch to see if its something you'd be interested in doing.
  15. Stalls are a normal part of the process. It usually means you need to change something in your diet or your workout. I found that I needed to increase my protein intake and change the intensity of my workouts which is why I take Krav Maga twice a week because getting on an elliptical or treadmill day after day was boring and it was only exercising the same muscles over and over. With Krav, I'm exercising muscles that I wouldn't normally be exercising while on a treadmill or elliptical.
  16. I totally understand this. I've lost 86lbs in the last six months and the first thing anyone ever commented on was "Wow, you've lost weight, yeah I can tell because your boobs are getting smaller.."...Needless to say, I have a complex about it now.
