  1. No. I'm calling in friday night so I can go see KMFDM. I'm not pressing my luck with Saturday. Might go next weekend.
  2. He thinks he will be fine. Says the adrenaline rush should kill the pain until Saturday......Suuuure.
  3. Same as Head Wreck. I'd be outta here, most likely would go to Europe.
  4. Suspiria was a great film. I believe Inferno and The Mother of Tears were the films following Suspiria making a trilogy called "The Three Mothers".
  5. Never heard of Chiodos. Great song. I'd listen to them. Has anyone heard of Ours? Well here's one of my favorite songs. Seen them live a couple of times, very good concerts.
  6. I heard only a handful of people got help other than that I haven't heard anything else. The thing is banks are not obligated to help anyways and most of the time, they won't help unless you are past due. I heard some guy on the radio saying that it took him being late for 4-5 months before the bank would even help him. I had surgery back in May and I stopped making payments. My surgery was more important to me and I made it clear to the bank that I was gonna receive less than half of my income while I was off for a month. I was putting off filing bankruptcy but I gave in and did it.
  7. I concur. Hello to you too.

  8. I sincerely hope that the mortgage company will work with you. Whatever happened to that Home Affordability program where you could refinance to a lower interest rate or get a loan modification that Obama endorsed? I know I tried to get into that same program, I didn't hear anything from the bank after calling everyday of every week for two months. If they do end up foreclosing on you, you are better off filing Chapter 7 bankruptcy, that way you won't be liable for the loan when they foreclose on your home if that's what happens. You would still be able to keep your car. I'm not saying bankruptcy is the right way but shit happens and I've been through the same thing.
  9. The problem with the bailouts is now everyone wants a bailout. The government cannot possibly bailout everyone. They shouldn't have passed that bailout bill. It's not working, thousands and thousands of people remain unemployed. I don't know what's going through our reps' brains right now. They are too concerned about saving some freaking fish than the people who are losing their homes, jobs and businesses.
  10. Not really surprised. As mentioned in a previous post, they are seeing things like smoking and drinking as liabilities. Soon they will be taxing your Mt. Dew or Diet Coke or Cheetos. I think the Governor in NY wanted to tax the obese or something to that effect.
  11. I think a relationship such as the one you describe can work as long as either party doesn't try to force change in the other person. For example, I don't drink alcohol for medical reasons but I wouldn't expect my significant other to avoid an occasional beer or drink just because I can't have it. It's the same thing with food. My friend married a guy who is Muslim and he abstains from pork. She eats it, not around him though.
  12. Kickboxing was fun tonight. I actually stayed the entire 55 minutes. My legs are sore as hell though.
  13. Should I be dropping acid before watching that? Its pretty trippy minus the drugs.
  14. This happened today. I was at Target and in the check out lane next to me was a woman with her baby in one of those infant carseat things, probably about 2 months old. People, total strangers, just walked up and starting touching the baby and saying how cute the baby was. If it was me I'd tell them to keep their damn hands off my kid.
  15. Sorry Phee. Sorry Jynx. I've never heard of the Fleckstones or Victor Wooten. He's got skills.
  16. More Apocalyptica, this time with Nina Hagen.
