  1. Same, although it was a pretty silly premise. I liked The Good Place much more. Recently I've been trying to catch up on new Who. Haven't seen it since Season 8. After I need to get started on Billions, saw the first episode and it looks good. I have a lot in the queue though.
  2. That's less than two months away. I'll take that bet, since that almost guarantees it'll happen
  3. Fuck that thing is TINY though. I feel like I'd break it.
  4. I can't remember too clearly but I think @phee and @DJ Nocker were there
  5. I haven't been there in a long time but I used to head up a night there before it got moved from Tuesdays to Mondays (competing directly with Necto which is basically why I gave it up.) It was nice to be able to go to Logan's for the Detroit Atheist Meetup again though. I miss Kegger and was sorry to hear of his passing. He was one of those owners that didn't feel like a boss. The last time I spun there was for Moondancer and Holly's wedding, which they split up ages ago. Haven't talked to either in a long time and I hope they're both doing well. I should stop by there and say hi.
  6. Been there, done that. You break that loop by stopping that and cutting those people the fuck off. I hate entitled narcissistic assholes so that's pretty easy. It's harder if they're pretty.
  7. I'm really liking how Pepsi went back to their old logo instead of the fatman logo.
  8. Ha, I knew that was EIT: https://tubitv.com/movies/475160/the-great-satan is really good too if you haven't seen it.
  9. I keep losing friends in general because I keep opening my mouth. It's not a bad exchange though, quite the opposite. I'm very much not for everyone.
  10. Have you met me? (the answer is yes I know, bus still I tend to glow darkness.) If you really want dark:
  11. Now I'm listening to the goth version of that:
  12. Complain to management/owner. If that is her then start shopping elsewhere.
  13. I've always been told to just let them violate the law and fight it in court. It's crazy to me that it isn't an option for everyone. Getting a good lawyer should be a right. Instead you get the bare minimum who is overworked and just wants you to plead out. It's better for you because you actually know the law and what your rights are (or at least what they should be if they don't violate them.) It pains me to think of those who don't know their rights and let the cops walk all over them without even knowing it.
  14. Yes, denying a constitutional right is a dicey area, especially if no crime was committed previously. However if the person is involuntarily institutionalized / it can be proved that they've made threats against others, then I think that this should be a no brainer. Red flag laws are crap, but this goes beyond those. It's a little hard to believe that they didn't intentionally let this happen, but "never attribute to malice what can be explained by stupidity." I don't even trust the cops though and I'm fuckin' mayo on white bread white. I can only imagine being some other ethnicity in this country.
  15. Army training, so he actually knows what he's doing. What I don't get is why they let him keep his firearms after he went into a psychiatric ward. What kind of morons do they have there where no one thought it might be a good idea to take guns?
  16. I feel like I want to punch whoever made/uploaded that video for not adding in credit for whatever animation that video used.
  17. It's not a very big secret tho. I've seen it as well. Project 2025 scares the shit out of me too.
  18. Are they making you do unsafe shit? Collect lots of evidence and then get OSHA and the DOL on their ass. Your well being isn't ever worth their profits, or yours.
  19. Yeah, that's mostly kids of old ICP fans though. It's become a generational thing, almost like a religion. Fucking idiots can't even get their cutlery right. It's not a hatchet it's a cleaver.
  20. The thing is the left will do the same thing. Though what is that saying? If there is a table of 9 people and a Nazi sits down and isn't immediately shamed or excluded, it's a table of 10 Nazis. Really cancel culture exists on both sides though, it's just we agree with one side more than the other. There is no tolerance of dissent or differing opinions anymore. For the left anything they don't like is a Nazi, and for the right they're a Commie. People even ridicule the people in the middle for not being extreme enough because again if you're not completely with the group then you're against it. You're either excluded for being a racist/sexist bigoted asshole who hates taxes and likes guns and one religion, or you're excluded for being a bi/trans/ally feminist race traitor who likes taxes and hates guns and religion (or is tolerant of others aside from their own.) For people like me stuck in the middle there is no winning.
  21. If I have to look it up it's fucking far. Just east of Saganaw is far. I don't think @Marblez has been actively updating the map, though you may want to update your member profile on here as it still says Redford.
  22. Sorry to hear that, I hope things get better soon.
  23. Yeah, sorry I missed it. I was going to go to @BadKitty's birthday thing tonight but fell back asleep and missed everything. I have a funeral tomorrow for my Great Aunt so that's been on my mind a bit. We were never that close but she was always really nice when I did see her.
