  1. Voting for a master just keeps you a slave, so no, I didn't bother either. Unsurprisingly Sanders and Trump still won our state, which was what I predicted. When you piss off your working force with trade agreements and a lack of jobs of course they're going to vote for the "anti-establishment" candidate. Kind of naive of them to think they can change anything from the inside though. Too many safeguards have been put in place now. I think it's going to be Clinton vs. Trump, and Clinton will win just like Bush did in 2000. Also this:
  2. I think of fluffy bunnies and the whole "Why Wiccans Suck" rant (which was written by an ex-wiccan witch.). Rational Wiki has tons of information on it with a link to the original WWS page: http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Wicca The page has moved since those early days. I'm not sure how much editing it has but it certainly has had editing: http://www.oocities.org/whywiccansstillsuck/ I remember loving the original so look that up first I guess. I always thought the author didn't go far enough but I suppose those are the same issues different sects of Christianity get into with the whole "you're doing it wrong" and making their own denominations (and then trying to kill the others off in their case.) My own personal experience was I liked a girl in HS who was into it (who gave me my nickname BTW) and she had a friend who was sick. She wanted me to help in a ritual. Ritual was running around in a circle in her back yard looking like an idiot (whatever, I was horny.) Her friend got better because it wasn't a serious illness. The only thing that made me happy was hanging out with friends and "helping" them out. Side note, being pro-women isn't being anti-men any more than being pro-white is being anti-black (or vice versa). We were all young and stupid though so there was no real hate yet toward anything.
  3. Neat idea, and probably about time too. However I have a suggestion that maybe it should alternate between two locations. I belong to a group called the Michigan Oakland Wayne Fandom Organization (M.O.W.F.O.) which does a weekly sci-fi meetup on Mondays, alternating between The Redford Grill and a Ram's Horn off of Dequendre and 13.\ Technically it could alternate between even more, like the first Thursday of the month do Red Apple, then the second do something in Roseville, third Pontiac (assuming there are enough members around those locations with interest. Anyone remember the DGN member map?)
  4. I don't care about sports, except however for this event. It's on Speedvision at 2 and will run 24 hours (unless they interrupt it with other crap). It's better than nasscar because they can turn left AND right :D
  5. Yeah, you could use I don't know. Anime for regular animation and Japanime for Japanese animation :D But still they added to that German word, which adding things is confusing. With animation they just dropped everything after the m and added an e (well that's what WE did anyway, I'm not even sure how their letter system works). Although I'm sure the only time before that when someone used the word Anime is when they were interrupted but we'd have gotten to it eventually, American's are just lazy XD
  6. "Anime" is an English word, short for animation. Although I guess it could relate to that French word too (I check my sources before I open my mouth :D ). English word becoming Japanese gets shortened and becomes English again. That's kinda cool actually.
  7. "web 2.0" is the millionth word. Whoever decided that can go fuck themselves. That's some horrible technology and shouldn't even be considered a word. Actually it's four "web two point zero". They should have gone with defriend because at least it's a real word.
  8. Bout time :D I'll try to make it as often as I can.
  9. Most people can't teach their kids anything anyway (other than the pain/reward system), that's what school is supposed to be for. However in the 80's that wasn't always the case. There are newer schools that focus on a love of learning etc... and make it fun. Instead of doing things on a class level they do them on an individual level. If I could find the youtube for it I'd show you.
  10. Look at the notarized list. My grandmother could follow that list easy. The hardest part on that list is choosing which registry key to write to, the x86 one or the x64 one (because you have to know what type of processor your system is running on but at the moment anyone running with a 64bit processor probably knows it).
  11. There may be suspensions, other than that I'm not sure. Looks like I'm roped into doing it... again! They won't let me quit because I'm one of the few there that doesn't have his head up his ass.
  12. I like pizza and I work cheap. I can probably fix everything else that's wrong with your system as well. Any Linux/UNIX based OS will do which will run on any hardware platform. Disabling the extension does not get rid of the extension. The Java extension does this type of behavior as well. However disabling does stop it from acting and as soon as I saw it I disabled it (because I like to keep track of what extensions are running on my system. Although really this is easy. Pretty cut and dry directions.
  13. Uh, sure, go for it. Words should be free anyhow. If you want to give credit that's up to you, I don't really care. What you mean is "do this or you'll be punished". No, because if I do it I'll put a knife in their back to help further Darwinism. Finally I went to kindergarten in 85... I hope things have improved since that time. I remember hating first grade, but not kindergarten which is what I'm basing my experiences on. Public school is a bitch.
  14. First off "kindergarten graduation commencements"? I mean what the fuck. All you do is color and nap. I don't think I've ever met anyone that failed kindergarten, ever. Next, good for you. Fuck those racist white fuckers. If you get along with the blacks then that's awesome. Most people hate what is different and the fact that they take a shine to you says a lot. Morons come in all colors but fear is usually white with a streak of yellow. You'd think they'd want to get to know the people who raise the kids that their kid is going to school with. Maybe their generation will have better mingling skills.
  15. I'm sorry... you should try Mozilla Firefox then since it has built in spell-check. Words are checked as you type for errors and if any are found it underlines them in red. The same feature exists for www.pidgin.im for instant messaging, and Mozilla Thunderbird for e-mails.
  16. That's a band not a song and it's spelled "kidney thieves" Good luck...
  17. I can't help it if people don't know a good thing when they see it. Cloning more intelligent people is a great idea. I'd skip my spot though if they'd do Einstein, but then they'd probably just clone Jesus instead *my penny on the track*
  18. Depends on the night you go I guess. Fridays security is really lax and you can bring guns in or whatever else since there is no search anymore. Although I don't know if they reinstated that or not. With camera phones I think they should reinstate the cellphone ban for that different reason. However if you're a regular you could probably sneak in a small atomic weapon and no one would question it.
  19. Not sure if someone posted it already or not, but it's awesome.
  20. Because these are of things in city club that no longer exist, and they are nazis about cameras in the club.
  21. I see your point, but can you tone down the delivery a bit? There are some play nice rules here for a reason.
  22. Oh yeah, and when they played GOOD MUSIC! (I mean what they do now is OK, but it's not really that goth). I want to here Sisters of Mercy damnit!
