Awww I miss you too! I miss everyone on DGN. Sorry I been scarce lately. But I thought I would start getting back to posting stuff :D As for tattooing well it all depends. I am still in the very beginning stages of my apprenticeship and I only have one machine and no supplies at the moment. I am getting my chest piece done by a artist on LA Ink in Hollywood on jan 14th I am stoked!

My new tattoos Halloween

Hey everyone! Well I been settling in past few days and mainly just been doing quick facebook updates but finally here it it! I just wanted to say I made it to Southern California safely and been settling into my new place. I live with my tattoo instructor and his sister. He has alot of family over and everyone here is pretty chill and rad. I feel like a foreign exchange student because they all can speak fluent spanish. Eddies mom is Mexican. So like I am starting my tattoo apprenticeship. Going to the DMV monday to get my drivers license. Just gotta take the written test. I will be hunting for a car and getting close to my BF. I am going to a halloween party and maybe a zombie dance party at Das Bunker industrial club in LA. Just right now making sure I got all my important things taken care of first before I go out and party in the hollywood hills. Its going to take getting used to seeing all the palm trees and mountains but it is sooo cool. Anyways I would go on more and mroe but my butt is wiped out. I been doing a load of college work. Now its time for me to catch some zs. I am still sort of like 3 hrs ahead jet lag. Will be taking photos and filling you all in more on things as i settle in. Thing is I am safe, in my place and starting my new life!

Hey there everyone well less than one month and I make my grand voyage to Southern California! I am very excited. I will miss Michigan of course but I need a change of scenery and a new life. I really wish I could have got to know you all better and clubbed more often and been at the events and concerts more but when the decision was made to move to California I once again had to tighten the purse strings so I could make it happen. Otherwise I would have been moved closer to you all and a regular at the clubs and stuff. This whole California thing was unexpected but its happening because i been offered a tattoo apprenticeship. It was not happening here in Michigan and its hard getting apprenticeships by anyone legitimate anyways. Also fell in love with a boy and hes got his life goin on out there so thats where I am going. another unexpected thing. Falling in love with someone well the way I did hahaha. Thats another story but the thing is it all happened for a reason and now its getting to be the time. I really hope to go clubbing once more or at City, Necto and resist before I go. So if theres a generous soul who would pick me up I would happily pay for gas. Ask Chernobyl its not such a bad drive to my place. Ok well I see you all in the forums! and hopefully a couple more times before my departure. If someone gets me a bunch of Detroit Gothic stickers I will stick them at every place I stop on my way to Cali and leave a trail. I will maybe see if I can post a interactive map and each place I stop will get marked and there will be a few snap shots of me and the stick placed on somethign wacky or cool. If you wanna hang out message me and stuff! I got plenty of free time.

As you all know I plan on moving out to southern California. Well you all may not know but ok yeah thats the plan. So I been making some new friends and connections out there and I am being told about Industrial Roller rinks. Roller skating rinks entirely dedicated to Goths and Rivetheads. They call it WUMPSKATING lol. Now theres a fun idea for you all! Take over a skating rink or at least one for a night out of the week and skate to industrial music. I find this to be a novel idea and alot of fun. I also must say I was really worried the Cali crowd would be all uppidty and I am sure they have plenty of them but theres love for Detroit and the scene here. "Detroit is one of the only places I've been to recently that has even an especially active scene" By member cantseeme in Real Industrial Radios forums. I know I will always post back to DGN and let you know how things are out there and share any cool ideas and neat stuff happening.

Man my friend Sullies going. He also went to Sonispehere festival. Its a 3 day festival that takes place in several countries in Europe! That had quite an impressive lineup and Rammstein is headlining with Iron Maiden! There are some odd ones in the line up including Gary Numan. Gary Numan playing a primarily metal concert seems oddish but hes awesome anyways.

RUSH rocks and pink floyd. I am guilty of liking Linkin park and My Chemical Romance. so what I dont care what you think. I dont care if people think they are EMO and nu metal or whatever or if they even are EMO. Thing is I listened to their music and I liked it. I seen their live shows and loved them. I have no shame in that. I thought the black parade album had some pretty cool songs in it and I think Gerard Way is a great artist not just as a musician but he also does alot of the design work for the band merch, album covers, posters and and I love his graphic comics The Umbrella Acadamy. before he was in a band he was working for cartoon network and aspiring to have his own animated series.

LOVE IT!!!!!! I am all about evolution and creativity and paying respect to the founders and pioneers of music. As the Beatles are respected in early rock and Black Sabbath to metal! I dont even care if something becomes really mainstream or pop culture. so what they (once underground industrial bands) might have shirts selling at Hot topic. These musicians work their fuckin asses off and do what they love! I personally dont love music cause everyone else does. I love whatever music makes me feel good and I can connect with. If it sparks inside me inspiration, creative and emotional responses I will latch on and tell the world its AWESOME! Call me or them sell outs but man people need to pay for their shit and put food on the table so going commercial is sometimes necessity as with embracing new technology and sounds.

I so wish I had grown up there and then! I love the original goth scene. I will always admire and be fascinated by it and the beautiful people that were very original with their looks and clothing and music.

Well I looked and did not already see a thread dedicated to the younger years of your lives. Though I know for the most part I was a depressed strange kid I got errrr yeah pictures of me smiling with my tiny baby teeth and rocking out pigtails and bangs/firnge and all the bright colorful clothing my parents made me wear to school. so without fursther ado here it is my first one! :evil:i may be all cute on the outside but something sinister was brewing on the inside lol

Just make sure you dont get stampled by a mosh or anythig. Man last metal festival I was at there was a huge sod fight and the whole lawn was torn up. I was in the Pavilion but awww man all the gras was torn up and thrown everwhere and even made it to the stage and the center of the lawn formed a massive mosh pit that looked like a giant wave of bodys. Cups of everything from lemonade, dirt, rocks were flying! If that happens on the lawn this timeI am going to be like the knights from Monty Python. RUN AWAY!!!!

Well I am not huge fan of it. I have tried it here and there and like pain meds even its seems to have little effect on me so I can live without it. My parents on the other hand just got their licenses for their problems. MS and back injuries from car accidents. My moms had several back surgeries. Thing is with it being legal and them able to grow their own now they wont waste money they need for bills. Its been sad to see that they have to spend money buying it illegally so now that they can grow their own and smoke it to help themselves I at least know it will financially relieve some of their pressure. However they still smoke tobacco and I rather see them quit smoking that. Am I for it well as long as you really need it. I guess it dont matter to me all that much as people are gonna do what they wanna do. I think however the big drugs the dangerous ones that can destroy you like meth, and heroin and crack should be the drugs our country does fight against. Nothing good comes out of using those. As for me well I am on synthroid its a hormone my body needs to function and for me to live. That does not have any adverse side effects if you actually need it and take it as prescribed. It does nothing to your liver and kidneys ect because its a natural hormone your body needs not really a poisonous chemical. I am on mood stabilizers and anti depressents. I hate having to use them too. Since nothing else seems to work yes including pot I take them and finally have things fine tuned to work for me. Will I ever be able to live without them I dont know. I do have severe mental conditions not just a little depression but Bipolar, Borderline Personality disorder, PTSD, and major depressive and anxiety disorders. I have along with my meds which I am supervised by a doctor, psychiatrist and clinician along with therapy both group and individual been able to function better taking my meds properly. Will it mess me up some other way. Sadly probably yes but I dont see any other way of fixing those problems and so I legally take things. I am not a pain pill popper. I rarely have asprin on hand. I am not one who gets a ache pain or headache and goes omg I need a asprin. I dont buy motrin or pills when I get mense cramps. The only time I ever get pain meds is if I am in extreme pain from injury or bad tooth ache. And I tend to use very little of these. Even when I broke my foot and tore my ankle up I had loratabs and vicodins and stuff but I barely used them and would suffer discomfort and aches because I think in a way pain does not bother me all too much its a friendly reminder that something is wrong and needs to be fixed. I have a decent tolerance to pain and so I just deal with it and I dont even complain unless someone makes a ridiculous request of me. So hey let the pot heads grow their own and do their thing really. Those countries in Europe who allow it experience less crime, and happier lives. The places where drugs like that are legal the people are so much happier and mentally and emotionally healthy all around as well as physically and financially. I used to hate pot and people smoking it but I have grown up and seen the pros and cons and grown less judgmental as well. As long as it dont harm me or someone directly well I am not gonna say much or hold a higher opinion either way. I remain simply neutral.
