IMDB October Horror Challenge
killyosaur replied to DJ Nocker's topic in Movies, Books, Art, TV, Gaming and Computers
Yeah just noticed that, so documentaries about horror movies count for the challenge? Just checking on the rules regarding this (as there is a documentary about Troll 2 out there that might actually be worth checking out, not certain about that, as I haven't yet). -

Wasn't too fond of the Haunting in Connecticut I take it? Haven't heard many good things about that one to begin with. My first three were thoroughly enjoyable. -

I still, technically, am awkward at Mars (maybe not as awkward as you were when you first started going) and I know the freaking DJ's! -
I think that is kind of the point. If you don't jump you'll never know if you'd succeed or get splattered, sometimes you need to take the chance.
-
Makes sense, just need to find the confidence to make the jump.

Pretty much

Yeah no firearms, basically solve the puzzles/tasks they give you and get candy/other items, otherwise we eat your brains

Certainly should be. I'll be volunteering, dressed as a Zombie.

Run Rally 2011 Announcing the O'Connor's Run for the Brains Spooktacular Run Rally Presented by the Your Pace or Mine Running Club The 3rd Annual Run Rally is coming - bigger and scarier than ever. This year's event will be held at noon on Saturday, October 22, 2011. You will need to use (and hopefully not lose) your brain. In addition to some fun trick or trinkets you receive at each stop (after you earn them), every participant will receive some great swag including the traditional commemorative glass and other cool gear. There will also be pre-race snacks and a complimentary celebratory beer or soft drink. A team consists of 2 or 3 individuals. The entry fee is $20 per person and all net proceeds will be donated to the Diabetes Action Team. Space is limited and we will sell out before event day, so don't delay! This event is put on by my running group and fills fast. You don't need to be an avid runner as it is more about strategy then pure athletic ability, and it is fun. For anyone interested click the following link: Run Rally 2011 for the registration form. Hope to see some of you there!

I may make an effort to make it out to this one as I have been wanting sushi for a while. And I would be up for a trip to Mexicantown, I've done Xochi's before, it is quite good.

Completely understand that feeling, as well as the missing the moment one (tends to be the latter that happens to me most frequently).

The site doesn't hate you, there is a limit to how many videos you can embed in a single post.

I was there Saturday, the friend I went with on Monday wanted to catch Saving Abel but they bailed due to the storm so we spent the time hiding under the overhangs of the various food-mobiles. I saw Pestilence at the the International Stage but wasn't certain it was him (Chernobyl confirmed for me on Monday that it was indeed him, so, sorry I didn't say "hi"). Was fun chatting on Monday, with all the people that were there and as large as the venue was, I didn't actually expect to catch Chernobyl at the place.
