Huh, that's odd, I just checked Gamespot.com on Gran Turismo, they gave it an 8 out of 10 and the conglomeration of critics that Gamespot's site referenced (non-gamespot reviews) seem to average out to 8.5. Seems most critics actually liked the game. I generally use multiple sources for determining whether a game (or movie for that matter) is any good. It is also why rottentomatoes.com (which does movies exclusively) and metacritic.com (which aggregates game scores along with other media types) can be your friend.
Currently playing WoW cataclysm, want to finish my run of Dragon Age before the next one comes out, would love to be playing Black Ops (I still need to get Modern Warfare 2, and would like to get World at War, as I have been a fan of the CoD franchise since the first game) but currently don't have the cash for it, or the time for that matter, especially if I want to get out and do things with friends and run marathons and such.
