Having been through a divorce myself, I am a big fan of this idea. It would have been so much easier to just walk away, the court system only prolonged the bitterness.

The new Nightmare on Elm Street on Friday night. I watched it with my 4 year old son who watched intently through the entire thing and then went to bed in his own bed and wasn't even a bit scared. The next night I took him to his very first grown up haunted house and he was only startled once when a killer clown jumped out in front of him. He actually led the way through the house. This is the kid who's favorite movie at age 2 was The Evil Dead. Serial Killers are not born, they are made:)

I wanted to be first!

Well, I graduated last spring and decided to take this semester off before going back for more. However, since I'm old, first day of school is more significant for me because it means freedom from my kids 5 days a week!!!!!! Ahhhh, so nice:)

There is no way I could just choose one favorite movie, just as I could not choose a favorite band. However, I can put almost any Tarantino movie at the top of my list. Death Proof was awesome! Dusk til Dawn. The original Dawn of the Dead as someone posted above me was great but I also love the new one. Comedy is one of my favorite genres second only to Horror. Zombieland was great cuz it combined those two. Plus, Bill Murray:) Then of course there is always Star Wars which fits in neither category but is great none the less.

We went for the Pirate weekend a few weeks ago. Would have been cool but it thunder stormed most of the time we were there so it pretty much sucked:(

I understand your frustration but it will do you no good to stress about it. Honestly, as long as you talk to them the day before labor day weekend you'll be fine and they'll be the ones scrambling to get your kids paperwork in order. I wouldn't even worry about it right now, just enjoy whats left of the summer:)

I think I'd rather die than be locked in one of those. Ever see "Blast from the Past"? Pretty funny movie. Plus, Christopher Walken was in it:)

My husband and I would often go on "dates" to Borders. We loved just getting some coffee and looking at books. Sometimes we'd buy them other times not. Like Troy said, we just enjoyed the "feeling" of being there. Otherwise, we could have just gone to a coffee shop.

Propofol is the drug that killed Micheal Jackson. It's surprising to think that it would be used for ICU sedation though because it has a short half life and has to be given often. I don't know to much about it but I'm pretty sure it's only given IV or at least I've never heard of it being given any other way. I doubt it could replace your Ativan. lol.

It was definitely weird. lol. I loved it but it's surprising that they did something like that for the general public. I guess we're all freaks now.

Had a great time:) Met some weirdo who was talking about GIANT MUFFINS. lol. Drank a lot and Danced even more. Stayed a lot later than usual, which was like 2:30 cuz we're old. Woke up this morning to find vomit all over my car. It wasn't mine, so all in all it was an awesome night!

From what I can tell not all of the acts signed on for the I-rock and none of the vendors. Not sure, apparently there are some issues between Harpos and the event coordinators. I'm not going to the I-rock version.

I just heard that Harpos backed out and cancelled the whole event:(

As a chunky girl I will vouch for the angle making you appear better. lol. I have a weak jawline as it is and having some extra fat doesn't help. I definitely get better chin definition from an upward angle.

I think we'll be making it out this weekend. Going to the Glow Dark Circus and then City. As far as the DGN corner, I have never had success in finding anyone in the "old" corner. I'll look for you this weekend:)
