  1. I am going to this. Can't wait, it looks awesome!
  2. After reading this, I don't think about drug laws and what should be legal and what shouldn't be legal. I think about a woman in AZ and her two little boys who are completely devastated. My heart goes out to them.
  3. Hey, I have a pretty decent size stack of bricks in the back of my garage that I never knew where to get rid of. I live in Roseville. I need some time to actually crawl back there and dig them out (my garage is in post-apocalyptic condition itself but not on purpose. lol)
  4. I usually turn on youtube and then go about my business and don't actually watch the video but just listen. Two videos that recently caught my eye was De/Vision- Rage and also Combichrist-Throat full of glass. Not that they were the greatest videos but I found them interesting.
  5. It's definitely not perfect. I feel bad for the poor woman who was blinded but if that happened to me, I don't know if I'd really want to be the one to dole out the punishment. Plus, he's going to be unconscious so it's just not the same. Also, I would assume she has damage to her entire face because acid was thrown at her and not just dropped into her eyes. I just wish people who stop being so stupid and hurting other people but that is never gonna happen.
  6. It's a combination of a lot of things like others have said. I was always overweight as a kid but my brothers and sisters were always super skinny. We all ate the same crap that our mother fed us and were not encouraged to get exercise. When I think about all of the sweets and junk available in my house as a child I think, no wonder I was fat. However, why weren't my sisters and brother. I think it's simply because they had less of an appetite than I did and didn't eat much at all. They have actually gained a lot weight in their adulthood because their metabolisms have slowed down but their eating habits haven't. I have done the opposite, I eat well and exercise and am in better shape than they are. With my own kid, I've noticed over the years since I started bringing only healthy things in the house and signing her up for sports, she has automatically thinned out drastically without any effort what so ever. Genetically, she has the same huge appetite that her father and I have and would be extremely obese if there were cookies, chips and pop here to eat instead of apples, yogurt and skim milk.
  7. That sounds good to me :)

  8. That was awesome! I believe in a God but I hate religion. My brother and two sisters are all atheists and we all respect each other's belief. My brother can actually be pushy about his disbelief in God the way you'd expect an overly religious person to be about their belief in God. I think that is because of all of the overly religious people in the world who have tried to push religion on him. I want to start a religion where everyone just leaves other people alone and let them be themselves.
  9. Yeah, I think they used D6 for artistic purposes as stated above. They had the D&D book right on the table and it was a spoof of a song called, Roll a G6?? never heard of it but that's what the caption said. I wouldn't have ever known that D6 was wrong because I only played D&D once in my life. It was fun though:) My Ex-husband used to play a similar game called, "Talisman" all the time. I played with him until one day he cheated! He stole my magic sword!!!!! Grrrr! lol.
  10. I was there last weekend. I really want to go every weekend:) lol. Do you have plans to go again soon? Maybe I'll go then.

  11. Hi There :) How have you been doing?

  12. That's funny, I am also "drudging" through a book about the revolution. I don't know why I'm having trouble with this one though because it's the 6th in a series that I've always loved. This one is just not going well. It's actually a historical romance, I hate romance but in this case the female lead is a doctor and performs primitive surgeries, so it's g...

  13. I don't know a lot of the DJs but I do want to go. I went several years ago when it was free and when it was $10 but I haven't been since then. I remember it was really fun even though I didn't know who the DJs were then either. Can anybody recommend which day would be the best to go... assuming that the weather is the same for each day.
  14. I love your name Blood Cupcake! :)

  15. I was there. It was fun:) I didn't see anybody that I recognized from here but I never expect to because the place is so big, dark and crowded. I did see the Hipsters though! lol.
  16. I am very impressed with your work! I especially love the girl with the rainbow hair:)
  17. I love history:) Although I can't claim to be a history buff, I don't know a lot of the details. My husband knows a lot about history because his Dad knew everything that ever happened. He was a history buff:)

  18. I only think about seeing the future because I think about the past. I always wonder what people from 100 years ago or 1000 years ago would think of the world today and that prompts me to think about what I would think of the world in 100 or 1000 years. For some reason I like to ponder things that I'll never have an answer. I also always wish I could rummage through old lady's attics...

  19. Actually, this is something I've thought about. I remember taking "typing" in middle school and now it's called "keyboarding". My mom had (and probably still does, that woman doesn't get rid of ANYTHING) an old typewriter that was hers when she was in college, I'm guessing that was in the 1960's. We also had one of those electric typewriters that had built in correction tape so that you didn't have to use those eraser/pencil/brush thingys or that clear plastic sheet with white ink on it that you had to put under the type bar and re-type the same letter. I do not miss them. It's so much easier to use Word and make sure everything is correct before printing. Although, the feeling of pounding on those old keys and the sounds it would make were pretty cool.
  20. Hehehe.....I kinda like life:) Plus, it would be really cool to see what human beings are capable of doing in the distant future, I'm pretty impressed with us already.
