  1. I don't watch the show but I went into a DeviantArt chatroom and found out I was a Shadowbolt..
  2. To be completely honest I think that this board at present, is more likely not to get back to the traffic it had. But that won't stop me from posting. As long as I'm hopefully not posting directly under myself in every thread (I'll do it music, because I'm always finding new music). Part of it definitely is, this is a practice of anti-dogmatism or anti-conformity for me. If the board has no traffic, it fuels my own brand of hipsterdom. If the board gets traffic again, there's more people and that's great-- and I hope they not only have fun, but put their own stamp on the place and comb their beard at night because that's what keeps any kind of social space alive.
  3. I bought Old Spice FIJI awhile back because I felt like I needed to reward the marketing department. Its my present preference that as long as I don't reek, I don't care about smelling like anything. There are recipes hiding away in google utilizing essential oils and a cheap vodka base to make cheaper, natural deoderont and cologne, and some of these essential oils also have other uses like being antibiotic (for instance these can also be used with a water base to create the equivalent of chemical-free Febreeze).
  4. Here Troy I found you another theme song. Spiral by AT NIGHT
  5. I'd probably go with lemonade over iced tea by itself unless maybe if the tea was sugary.
  6. Not sure if I you know it or not but George R.R. Martin quoted him in an interview about his writing. Anytime I hear any kind of heart-centric philosophy I think about Jnana Yoga and Advaita Vedanta which are interchangeable and based on knowledge and intuition. I'm a fanboy of esoteric themes and planned to be blunt about it in this story and have the equivalent of "enlightened masters" in the book with a subplot around one of them.
  7. "Yep." -- Steve Martin as a sociologist. --- I combed through Chapter 1 and polished it as much more as I could. Chapter 2 was written awhile ago so I have to look through and rewrite all of it. While thinking about this book over the years, I thought about creating a character that was exuberantly, self-destructively Gothic in the literary sense, and so I came up with Alistor. A hot-headed, androgynous, superhuman drug-dealer with a history of religious abuse. I have another idea in mind for a villain, so I don't know yet if Alistor will be the main villain or appear more of an anti-hero.. Or if there will be a main villain, the decentralization of that in Game of Thrones has definitely inspired me.
  8. This is the pain and suffering of Resident Evil fans!?
  9. 1. Get a powerful PC and all of TNG when it comes out remastered on Bluray. 2. Seep through the footage of Geordie La Forge. 3. Lip sync it to this. 0:48
  10. "You are not in the body, the body is in you! The mind is in you. They happen to you. They are there because you find them interesting." -- Nisargadatta Maharaj

  11. Its the room below the main room which mostly plays Industrial/EBM, where they play Drum and Bass and Dubstep on Mondays. The three times I've been there I spent it mostly people watching around that room, because I have an aversion to most Industrial, can't get into Futurepop because I overplayed it years ago, and the same for any 1980's club staple. Even though it seems that lately my heart belongs to 80's Electro, I like the idea of having rappers down there, and wish I could hear them better. "Brothic Baller."
  12. I feel addicted to Half and Half Lemonade and Iced Tea. But now I can never drink the new orange Monster Rehab, because it would make the Half and Half taste like its lacking orange flavor. I also feel Smokehouse BBQ Ruffles are better than BBQ potato chips. I'm going to start partially getting carbohydrates from chocolate graham crackers. And lastly that being an ectomorph rules and I love food.
  13. This song will always remind me of The Rake.
  14. Yeah I probably won't wear that again. After more deliberation I've decided that if its possible to weird people out in the context of alternative fashion it would require a look between a Star Trek alien and a homeless man who has started his own religion. My friend looked at me that night before we left and said, "Sometimes, I wonder about you." I don't see myself going to Necto anytime soon, but I wish the sound was sharper or there was more treble in the Red Room so I could hear what that guy was rapping about.
  15. Theaters are also torture devices for "weak nutritional constitutions", so pretty much all of America. There are few forms of hedonism that match drinking an enormously large and overpriced soda, sitting through a two and a half hour movie, and then finally getting to a bathroom. Also if a chick doesn't put out for good cooking they obviously love Jesus more than I do and its probably not going to work.
  16. Caffeine in system. Must go do a Chest/Triceps/Shoulders workout.
  17. I got to thinking.. anytime I've gone to the theater with someone I'm attracted to, or tried to get with a chick working at a theater, I got burned. If I happen to meet someone who is smart and worth being around, I'll skip extroverted things and cook for them.
