FYI, if you are on unemployment and you take a part time job that pays less that what you make through UE, they will still send you some money. They will just reduce it by a fraction of what you made work that week, so you're actually getting a little more than you would with just UE alone. I know because last year at this time I was working a part time job, working a part time work study job, doing an externship for school, and taking 13 credits, and I was still receiving some money from unemployment because what I was making still wasn't as much as my unemployment was.
So, yeah, I have issues with people who just keep expecting extensions, without really trying to find a job. The minimum requirement for unemployment is that you update your online resume once a month, and apply for/send resumes for 3 jobs per week, but we all know that with the economy the way it is, that's not enough to land you a job unless you have amazing credentials or are incredibly lucky.
