  2. Im on the fence with this one... Im not a big fan of their music (take Switchback for example... it sounds like what Stabbing Westward/the Dreaming would sound like if they went videogame/electronic) ...I dont dislike them either, ... I might end up going just to see the stage presence.

  6. Tootsie Rolls and Sugar Daddys. Bleh! ;p
  7. the entire Ardor album by Love Spirals Downward perfectly describes my mood right now.
  8. BTW thanks for everyone who came out to help, hang out, dj, and or all of the above! We raised roughtly 200 lbs of nonperishable food for Gleaners Community Food Bank!!! They send their thanks, and so does zombiewalkdetroit.com . Very awesome seeing Zachariah in the DJ booth btw, as he did a phenominal job.
  9. The Necto is always a fun time no matter what. (one of my best memories being in I believe 2006 when the guest DJ of Factory Monday was Ronin Harris, around the time he was working on the score to the movie Gene Generation...) As I was saying, Factory/Necto is always a good time period. Throw in a costume party etc (and FREE on All Saints Day!!!) and this night is sure to be nothing short of exceptional! My daughter's birthday happens to be November 1st, so sadly I will not be able to attend, however I will be looking forward to many blue gummy fish October 25. (BTW thank you again for taking the time (in the middle of a set, no less) to get me a copy of both CDs two weeks ago. That really made my night... I thought I would never get the first one again! =D) PS if anyone is needing help with transportation, pm me so we can make arrangements. I rock out a minivan (lmao)with room for 7 (...well 7 "legally" =D ) and the more the merrier!

  13. When I first began creating this event I tried very hard to negotiated a 'donation to Gleaners in exchange for free cover'. There are some decissions that were out of my hands despite my sincerest efforts to try to be as accomodating to the zombiewalkdetroit.com fan base and as supportive of Gleaners Community Food Bank as I could be. As far as I know there will not be a code issued for tonight, as tonight is deemed a 'special event'. The best explanation that I can offer is that when there are special events, such as the Detroit Electronic Music Festival Leland City Club Afterparty, I have personally paid $20 just to get in! While most weekends are typically the same at CityClub in terms of price, on occasion these 'special events' nights may fluctuate from their normal price structure. Thinking positively, really $2 + 2 non perishable canned food goods for donation ($4 without a donation) really isn't that inexpensive for a special event, especially one that is in support of a good cause. I hope this explanation clarifies things a bit, and I hope everyone still comes out and has a really good time! -sean
  14. Tonight is the night! I'll be up there early tonight in full support (+zombie gear) of fighting hunger! If anyone needs help with transportation, etc, PM me and Ill see what I can do (or maybe find a friend close by to you who would be nice enough to pick you up. As a person who was living on the streets at age 16, I know firsthand what it is like to be starving, freezing, scared and alone. Really that's why this event is so important to me; even if one person brings in one donation, that's more help than Gleaners Community Food Bank had before. (maybe this sounds cheesy, but TONIGHT YOU REALLY CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!) Hope to see you all there; make sure to say hi =D xo Sean
  15. Yep, and in comfy shoes. (why can't Doc Martin make slippers? Id never take them off)
  16. That's it, Im starting a band. Im on the fence with the name... either Exactoblade12 or Treemulcheragony What's the worst that can happen?-------->(oh yeah, it's called Celldweller)
  17. This one I noticed was started well over a month ago, so I guess I could have, however I hope that this updated thread will prove to be good marketing tool, as well the links and images added in there. I love eyecandy! Ooh, and links, too. (they are so much fun to click on =D) I hope that's cool with everybody, sorry if anyone is offended; just trying to support the D Also, I've found it annoying when people spell my name 'Shawn' or 'Shaun' or 'Carla', as I spell my name the traditional Japanese way, SEAN. Apologies DJ Nocker, and it's fixed =D
  18. RSVP HERE TO RIP's opening night and DKonstruct's CD Release party for Stars Burning Out D:konstruct will also be holding the release party for the much-anticipated album, "Stars Burning Out," in the Grand Ballroom. Also DJing will be DJ Nocker and DJ Scarryguy DJ Pleasure Kitten will be also be DJ'ing tonight at Leland City Club with DJ Aaron Hingst! 400 Bagley Detroit Mi
  19. Im usually not a fan of harsh vocals at all, and agree with you 100%, however for some reason this band stood out to me for some reason and thought Id give them some recognition. Yeah, sadly there are alot of bands that (korg+digital performer+reason+fruityloops+vocal processor = album) sound the same, and or use alot of similar sound samples/effects. ...or just use really really shitty samples period. Case in point, Diary of Dreams song "the wedding" The song opens up with what sounds like a little kid's piano, and then the(strings+orchestra hits+vocal) come in which just sounds like total crap to me.
  20. Rock! Thanks for accepting =D
