So, I ordered an underbust corset recently, and it's the same size and brand as my old overbust corset, but unlike that one that fits perfectly, this one barely fits, even though I have the laces loosened as far as possible when I put it on. It fits, but I have no string left to really tighten it, basically. I discovered that the only real difference is that the lace is so much shorter, due to the smaller length of the actual corset (which I'd assume would be proportional, but I guess not). Long story short, does anyone know where I can get a new string for it, over 15 feet? I'm having no luck online, and really don't know where to look offline. I'd rather not take the lace out of my other one, either, as that'd be a hassle every time I want to switch from one to the other. Thanks in advance!

Had to leave City early both nights this weekend because it was just too damn hot in there. I'm sure the drinking didn't help, but still... this heat sucks.

I've never been into PC games. I always have a cheap laptop, so I never really have the hardware of space for them. I also don't like the controls on a PC. I know there are USB controllers and such, but meh. Persona 2 is coming to PSP in September, and that is when I'll break my video game rut.

I love that show! Can't wait until the new season comes back on. I don't get a lot of the comic book references, though, but it's still great in many other ways. Sheldon is my hero.

Got a liberal arts degree because I was originally going to transfer into a university for mortuary science... hehe. But then I changed my mind for various reasons (takes too long, too much money, too much driving, etc) and enjoyed my library job, so I got the library science degree at OCC after that. I call it a fluff degree because the jobs I'm supposed to be able to get with it are mostly being eliminated in this economy :( Nope, unfortunately. Not enough money to get anything new at the moment, and all my systems are old, so I've already played everything I have.

I've always preferred Firefox. I tried Chrome for a bit but didn't see a difference in speed, and I missed my add-ons (though now FF5 won't let me use my old add-ons anyway). They better get the Foxytunes add-on updated soon...

Just finished "The Time Traveler's Wife" and have moved on to an old Betty Ford autobiography (figured I'd snatch that up from my library before everyone else jumped on the death bandwagon). She was quite an interesting woman.

I mentioned in my introduction that it's my Last.fm screen name, which I'm quite fond of. I came up with that because I like vodka and I like machines/electronic music (the "bot" part). Bam. Was going to be Vodkatronic (on Last.fm) but that was taken.

Driving, mainly because no one in my area knows how to. It's not like I'm the perfect driver, but I can at least drive the speed limit (not 15 under at all times), stay in one lane, not double-park and use my damn turn signal.

I'd have to start off by jerking it... after that, who knows? Maybe finally take my car to get fixed without worrying about being gouged?

I've heard the name thrown around for years at City, and finally decided to check it out. Saw some friends and my boyfriend (who is no longer active) and felt like giving it a shot. The 1993 remastered version of Alice by The Sisters of Mercy got me interested in the genre. SoM is still my favorite goth rock band.
