Y’all, the Barbie movie was so good. The girls and I are going back to see it tomorrow morning. We definitely did it up by wearing a lot pink, last Sunday. Even Jeff wore a pink polo. The only one that didn’t wear any pink at all was Ali. But it was fun! The messages were amazing, and I can’t stop listening to the soundtrack. Billie Eilish is “What Was I Made For” literally destroys me, every time it comes on. When Jupiter told me that this particular song made her cry, I thought she was being ridiculous. It’s really safe to say that, for me, she was not being ridiculous. It just fucks me up. Ryan Gosling killed it in his song and dance numbers. Even more interestingly, though, is there is an article floating around, and I’ll have to find it, where this movie has literally caused some break ups. As in, one or the other partner realized that they weren’t really in love with the person that they are with or whatever, and the relationship ended. Fascinating, psychologically. Tomorrow, we’re going cozy and we’re not getting all Glammed up. I really can’t wait to see it again. I can’t wait till it comes out on DVD because I’m buying it.

I used to have three. Iggy, my 20 year old, passed away a year ago this past weekend. I love these cats. The personalities are amazing!

Why am I back? I don’t know. I would pop in, every so often, over the years. Just to take a peek in and see what’s going on with everybody. But a lot of the old guard wasn’t here. And it kind of made me sad for what it used to be. Some of you know me really well. Those of you that know me well or part of the reason I moved to Detroit in the first place. But mostly because I met my husband on here. I was once a moderator, keeping the peace, but still making some of the worst jokes, and definitely some of the most posts lol. I don’t know if I would consider myself goth, technically. But I’ve always been a misfit, and I never was the cool kid, and when I found this place, it felt like home. For once, there were people like me, and I wasn’t the only oddball. But it’s nice to be back. It’s nice to be here with some of the people that I count as some of the coolest people I know. Sorry if that offends any of you.☠️ This site is a community. It is a community of people who absolutely changed my life on many levels. And it gives my little black heart a warm, fuzzy feeling. so yeah, I guess I’m back 🖤🩷

The son of a friend of ours is going to be out of town a lot this summer and then going to college. So we have been blessed with Tiki. He is such a sweetheart! I can’t get over how affectionate and cuddly he is to everyone that he has met so far! My African Grey and my Blue Crown are assholes. This bird is so excited when I walk into the room. It’s the coolest thing. He’s probably gonna learn some dirty words from Suzy Hotrod, though. 😂

I am probably the least goth of everybody here. However, I think that What We Do In The Shadows definitely ranks high on the goth-o-meter. I am so excited for the new season that’s coming out this month!

I absolutely cannot stand people that bathe in their fragrances. I used to work in a cosmetic store. One Sunday, an elderly lady came in and sprayed her self all over the place with Elizabeth Taylor’s White Diamonds. I was already having a hard time breathing. She came back five minutes later and did it again. I asked her why she was doing it and she said she couldn’t smell it anymore. I told her that the entire store could.

Oh, for sure. I presently have two pit mixes, now. My mother was absolutely not excited when I told her that I was going to get my first one. But once she saw the pictures, and how awesomely she behaved in videos, she loved her as well. She never got to meet her, though. I think that Bluebelle totally would have snuggled up to her and made her her new favorite human. Lol. I’ve literally never met a bad one. I was involved with an advocacy group for a couple of years. I do my best to dispel all the bullshit spew about them, wherever I go. Uneducated swine annoy the fuck out of me.

I have severe asthma. The kind that can pretty much kill me, and it almost did. But there are a couple of fragrances that I like. I much prefer food-based sense, which speaks volumes lol. Viva La Juicy Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere (Philosophy) and a knock off of Tom Ford’s Lost Cherry, because, seriously, who the fuck can afford that? Billie Eilish‘s first fragrance Vanilla oil
