I'll see what happens when I get my confidence back. 😅 When I was still studying Japanese at WSU, our instructor took us to a Japanese restaurant where the staff were actually Japanese. I mistakenly thought that was true for all "Japanese" restaurants. I found out quick that generally, the front of house is Korean and the cooking staff is usually a blend of American, Korean, Japanese and anyone else who knows the basics of Asian cuisine. But at least I did make friends with the proprietor's wife at one Japanese restaurant while they were still there. However, she is Korean and was front of the house and he is Japanese and never left the kitchen as he was head chef.

I am so happy with the progress I've made towards the completion of the connection between the houses. Originally, it was supposed to be a bridge, but now it is a bypass. When and if I actually get around to phase 2 of the build, the Hardtop Gazeboes, the bypass will become a hallway. Not sure what we will name it at that point.
