  6. ~~~~~ Wow, in my head, I was just on here yesterday. I see I haven't been on the board since Thursday. Things have been so crazy around here and now I'm trying to beat the weather. I got an infection from a flea bite so it's been difficult dealing with 100+ healing spots while building a connector between the houses while trying to winterize the outdoor living area for the backyard Feral Furs and chauffeur while handling my regular responsibilities. Fortunately, everything has been coming together, slowly but surely.
  7. About to grab some lunch and wrap up taking care of the fur babies' feeding and cleanup before it's time to chauffeur to St. Clair Shores.
  8. About to turn in. I have to chauffeur in a few hours.
  9. Feels like I've been running from one busy day to another. But it feels like things will calm down once I complete the final phase of the carport passageway build.
  10. Logging on in time to log off to go to sleep.

  15. ~~~~~ Definitely didn't touch it. I was researching data recovery methods because I know that files still exists even after you "delete" them (I watch a lot of Crime TV cop and FBI shows). Fortunately, it was only my Windows ProPad that had the forced Windows 11 upgrade. I very rarely let anything adjust the settings of my laptop...I just don't really like a lot of change (one reason I'm so bad with social media). So, thank you. I will definitely look into the suggested information.

  17. Currently rebuilding my Affidavit file from data I submitted to my case manager in the past. I just had no idea I would still be working on this 2 hours later. The Tortoise is winning this race...dagnabbit!
  18. Feels like I'm living in a state of disorganized chaos, trying to hold everything together with a piece of wet packaging tape while it's all precariously balanced on the top of my head. Everything feels impossible, yet doable.

  21. Well, things definitely got scary there for a bit. I accessed my removable drive on a device that had a forced upgrade to Windows 11. The drive was stated as having a corrupted recycle bin then began to systematically remove files from specific folders. I'm not certain how many folders were affected, but one folder for the entire statistical data collection for 2024 showed as empty and another accessed folder had files deleted for all of September and most of August before I disconnected it. It appeared as if the drive was being reformatted, but wasn't trying to save or backup any of the data on it. So now it's time to rebuild my desktop to preserve the data that remains. Since this was a rebuild from the massive decade worth of data loss prior to August 8, 2018, I'm not feeling as devastated as I did back then. Sadly, it's beginning to feel like business as usual. The good news is that with my last Micro Center run, I purchased multiple drives for specific purposes, one of which is strictly for backup data. I just wasn't quite sure what direction I wanted to go in regarding the new hardware installation, but this incident has definitely steered me into a specific heading.
