Yeah, last I knew at one time, I was part of the Dead Society and then one day everyone disappeared. So I went ahead and joined Mortis City. I also chose to cruise Woodward that day since no other hearses were around and it was a blast. Sadly the Back to the Bricks show was the same day. Going to try and help promote some Halloween stores by hanging out. Be cool if a few of us did that for a store. I know the small store in Howell here buys me lunch and let me have a few cross props for staying a couple of days to help promote his store vs the big one (Halloween City) down the road.

I am definitely going to be there. They are trying to go for a Guiness Book of World Records for most hearses in a gathering I guess. I will be happy to attend with mine.

Yep, tips like that. Started adding cinnamon on things and spicy items as well already. Drinking cold water is probably the other half of the taking a cold shower part lol.

Been a month and a half since I started this new job and it has really made some good changes in my weight. Got as far as 275 in the beginning when I realized I really needed to do something before I became diabetic or worse. Bought an online book called "The Truth About Abs" which explains the reasons why people gain weight and what misinterpretations are. They also give plenty of links to other helpful info like a food/calorie calculator/scheduler in which you can select certain foods per meal and plan them out and count the calories. Now I am down to 259 and not going up much when eating. Feels pretty good to tighten the belt another notch and be able to tie my boots without breathing hard lol. I even learned from a helpful hint that after showering, by lowering the warm water down til only cold water is remaining that you can activate the baby fat(mitochondria its called) in your upper body which helps for extra fat burning. And adding spice to things like potatoes and chicken and whatnot can help boost your metabolism. What kinds of stuff do others here do for losing weight?

Man, I want to help but am so far in the tank myself. Job is producing more and more though so maybe in the next month or two I can contribute again.

Well I guess one good thing that could come about it is that they won't try to fly any planes near the mosque since it will be so close by heh. I think 95% of Muslims are great people, and its just the 5% that make them look bad. I totally agree that all religions have their extremists though as I have seen the Catholic church and their ongoings of molestations and tons of other incidents. I think I heard somewhere as well that this building is to become a cultural center too for not only Muslims, but for everyone to come see and experience the true Muslim religion and history. Don't quote me on that as I don't have the source at this moment.

Looks like a cool game. I have been waiting for Blizzard to release Diablo 3 as it has been in the works for years. Almost have Diablo 2 with the expansion pack beat on the 3rd and final level. Want to see if there is a different ending than the other difficulties.

Not at all. Just business as usual. Although I think Mike Higgins would LIKE to stick with the current scene. Don't think a Polka scene would work out hunting for him meeting guys lol.

Actually, people have been going to the club no matter what was going on because its the City Club. Lame night or not, people come anyway. So clubs just want to make their money. They aren't concentrated on what goes on as long as the money is coming. Look at all the different kinds of things City has done and filled the place up. Its even conquered over the other clubs that had the same type of club nights. So in closing, the club will always have a regular crowd whether the old leaves and the new come in. Don't think that will change unless the club closes.

I don't believe he killed anyone in Georgia though. But the death in Virginia would be able to get him the death penalty. I am wondering if this is going to set off some in Israel as the mother doesn't believe her son did it, as most mothers would do. I want to see if the Israel nationals will get him out of the country to save relations with the U.S.

I don't agree with it either even if this country has freedom of religion. Wouldn't be too hard for a terrorist to make the mosque look like a haven either if he came out of it with a nuke mounted on a blast jacket and it was a short trip to the center of New York or even the new building going up at the Trade Center. How easy would that be with such a short trip. Why can't they build it somewhere else? We are so sensitive to their religion and their ways when we are over there. Why can't they be when they are over here?

I have to admit that Bush did help the homeowner out when the banks were going after people for the money difference when a foreclosure or short sale occurred. He made it so when the banks sent you the 1099 to be taxed on the difference, that you were exempt as the homeowner.

It's hard to believe any one side anymore when the information is online. I don't think there are any "unbiased" information sources anymore. Someone always has an opinion hidden in each so-called fact. I for one, am experiencing what homeowners go through especially when the economy affects the jobs you get and how much money you can make. I closed out my Chase accounts today finally and have the house on the market for short sale. I have done everything I can including a 2nd inquiry into a loan modification. Since Chase doesn't participate in any of the state programs, I can no longer have any faith in banks being honest to their word when they say "we are dedicated to keeping the homeowner in their home."
