  1. Sending Birthday Wishes :)

  2. hello, i don't have a car, but i absolutely LOVE dancing at Leland City Club. i'm a respectful guy, and i will give you gas money. can we car pool, or buddy up on a ride? PLEASE!!! Farmington Hills is the most boooooring place for me to be every weekend. i like havin fun. if you are willing to help me out, please drop me a private message here on DGN. you're broke-ass pal Ryan out for now... i don't have internet at home. please forgive my slow responses on here... thanks...
  3. i would LOOOOOVE to go to a club like that in Germany!
  4. i went to NEO in Chicago last saturday. i was in town for my friend's multimedia presentation at his school... anyways, it's a little bit more hard-edged industrial music-wise than City Club, it was a ton of fun, but i had to leave early unfortunately... just as i was getting up. in Chicago on a saturday night, one can drink 'til 5am. CRazzzzAy, right? it was a bit older of a crowd, and less of a mixed bag of folks. great club... my heart is at Leland City Club though
  5. Greetings and Welcome to DGN :)

  6. oops, that reply was directed to Exsplif... sorry, i'm still a damn newbie on here. i sentence myself to 40 lashes...
  7. MEMBER IV: i'm a HUGE fan of industrial music. i love Throbbing Gristle, SPK, old power-electronics, all that stuff... i also very much enjoy dancing to Skinny Puppy, FLA, NIN, wax-trax and all that jazz... i make music like the old schoolers, and i like making dubstep and danceable industrial too. i'm a hardware guy. what are you doing in the Appalachians sir? you should be making "real" industrial music. it's actually NOT expensive to make, it's damn fun, you know that there IS a scene for that kind of industrial in Detroit as well as many other large cities. how should i explain it? early-industrial styled music got repackaged, most people call it "noise" and sometimes it's nothing but a headache. its become a weird trendy thing, but i don't mind because it gives me more exposure for what i'm doing musically. like any other genre of music, 99% of it isn't valid to any one person interested, however you just have to dig about and do your own research. there are SOOOOOOO many incredible industrial-artists all over the world, right now even, the problem is that most of them get thrown into the "noise" category by people that just aren't accustomed to the sound. yup. sometimes industrial music is NOT dance music, sometimes it hurts our ears even, but most importantly SOMETIMES INDUSTRIAL MUSIC IS JUST CALLED "NOISE" THESE DAYS that's the unfortunate truth...
  8. hello, my name is Ryan. i'm a 33 year-old Industrial musician. i used to play bass-guitar in crust/hardcore punk bands and such too. i have nerve damage in my left arm now, thus i haven't been able to play my guitars. however, it only takes one hand to hold a microphone and start up a sampler/sequencer... i love dancing to goth/industrial club music now, and somehow i never danced too much until i was 32, and now i find dancing to be rather addictive. i LOVE Leland City Club. i have a very difficult time getting there lately. i sold my car after i left my last job, because i knew i couldn't afford it. the problem is that most of my friends either A) don't dance B) don't like goth/industrial music C) forgot about me after i sold my car :/ i live in Farmington Hills. i'm an extremely non-judgemental person and prefer to treat everyone and anyone as an equal. i do my best to anyway. i'm a really nice dude. the only time i can be a jerk is when people are rude and/or disrespectful. i have a very low tolerance for B.S. i spend lots of time working on music. i do three main solo projects: Redrot http://soundcloud.com/redrot --- my main project, started as a death-industrial project, now i make high energy, and very danceable bass-heavy electronic industrial poisoned with dubstep style electronic bass, death-metal style intensity and rhythms, furious hardcore-punk styled vocals... i can sing too, i just prefer to scream. it's far more cathartic. Neuntöter der Plage http://soundcloud.co...toter-der-plage --- morbid and ritualistic black-ambient music, dark dark dark soundscapes, scathing black-metal vocals, my lyrics typically focus upon recurring dreams and nightmares, like entering the sewers through dream or hallucination and what draws you forward into the black is the breathing darkness itself, the living shadows pulling you closer, the corporeal undertow... Klinikal Skum http://soundcloud.com/klinikal-skum --- educational music, esoterra, analog-synthesizers, shortwave radio interferences, fried out electronics, sometimes compositional, sometimes improvised... always FULL ON MORBIDITY. psychiatry/hospitals/disease/fetish/therapy seem to be recurring themes... i'm not here to spam everyone with all that business... i'm looking to make some new friends, perhaps find a ride to City Club, meet a nice gal... who knows. i'm here to meet you folks. be nice to me later on...
