Ok, I found him a home where he will be an indoor/outdoor pet and with very good friends of mine so I feel MUCH better!
-
Yeah, he's HUGE. Like 18 lbs and lean.
-
Since you're usually home, he might work for you. I might have a home set up for him now, but if no, you can be next in line! Thanks. I know, he's a wonderful cat... except. >.< NO! I'll keep it in mind, but with the kids and my other cats, I don't think we'll prevail that long with him.

This is a long shot, I know, but I thought I'd post here to see if anyone is looking for an outdoor cat, or can provide understanding care for him in a one cat home. Polar is a purebred Bengal, 3 years old, and has papers. He has inactive HCM, which is a heart disease. Right now he is 100% healthy and needs no special care, but he may when he is older and should get regular checkups. He is beautiful, affectionate, and a wonderful boy in general... except that he pees where he should't. I will detail his issue below, because if someone takes him, I want to be 100% open about it, as his previous owner most certainly was NOT. To clarify: he pees to mark me, and he pees to punish me. SO... he seems to pee aggressively against my other cats, and when he is unhappy with me. The "punishment peeing" is happening right in front of me. I think being in a one cat home will help alot. He seems better when taken outside once in awhile. You will need to confine him whenever you cannot supervise him if he is indoors. I really want him to have a good home. I cannot provide that for him, as I cannot continue to deal with his issue, having two other cats. I am afraid that they will begin to mark as well, and well, that would be apocalyptic. So if you are interested, repy here, or PM me. *sigh*

I cut myself on that damn thing all the time!!! It's been there for years though, so it's not going anywhere. I think avoiding it is part of instinctive muscle memory now. It got horribly infected last time it happened. -
City Club Poll for new night Sunday or Tuesday?
Nienna replied to d:konstruct's topic in Quizzes And Polls
Honestly, neither for me, when I'm working. I'm not working, so I woud go once in awhile now, but then I hardly go on the weekends anymore because of the BS... -
I'm so sorry that this has happened to you! I used to work with a woman who had it, and much like others have said, she had very defined up and down times. I guess, try to ride it, stay positive, and don't be afraid to lean on your friends and family. *hugs*

Are E-cigs allowed? I have been able to use mine in most bars so far, most recently The Necto. Will it be ok to use it at City as well? -
I was out at Necto on Monday and alot of people were hitting the e-cigs and no one said ONE WORD to me about it, though a couple of times I was silently visited by staff to see what I was exhaling. Are you sure they are illegal? Has anyone tried using one at City yet? I use a no nicotine or low nicotine liquid and have found that my asthma is literally GONE since switching to the e-cig. I say it's a good thing

Shrine Of Our Lost Pets
Nienna replied to GothicRavenGoddess's topic in Relationships, Pets & Domestic Homelife
My first two white boys... Both were such weird, delightful creatures... Fat Toon (AKA Toonie, Casper, etc) was a hugely fat boy with blue eyes. He was born deaf but that didn't stop him from talking constantly in his weird deaf cat voice. He purred if you even looked at him. He used to do the weirdest things, like climb the carpeted wall and then freak out because he couldn't get down, and let the dog drag him around by the scruff of his neck. (He would lay down in front of the dog and wait for it!) He got arthritic as he got older, but he always wanted me to hold him anyways, even though I knew it hurt his hips. Corporal Cracker and His Fantabulous Bean Machine (AKA Bean) was half deaf. He had one blue eye and one eye that was half blue and half green. He was my cuddle baby. Stupid to a fault and twitchy as hell, but he would be sad if he couldn't lay on my lap at least 2 hours a day while I read or watched TV. He died young from kidney failure. I still miss him so much. The pic is of him. -

I'm sending positive energy his way. Hopefully they'll get it under control soon. -
Who here plays D&D? ME What version(s) do you play and why? 3.5 because our group is more familiar with it, and we have the books already. What version(s) do you refuse to play and why? I don't refuse to play anything really. What style(s) of game do you like best (hack & slash, Monty Hall, intrigue, romantic, adventure, exploration, political, etc.) and why? Intrigue. Our group is headed by a masterful tale spinner. He challenges us mentally and it makes for a more dynamic game than just hacking and slashing. What style(s) aren't you too fond of and why? All of any one style is boring. It should always be a mixture. Are you more into story and character development or rules lawyering, min-maxing, etc. or a bit of everything, and how do you slide on the scale? Rules lawyering sucks, though it is needed to keep things fair. A good game needs action AND story to keep my interest. Group cohesiveness working together, constant infighting, or something in between? It depends on the game. Our group is full of great players who really get into character. It's all about the game and distractions should be kept to a minimum? It's all about the socialization and hanging out with friends and the game is secondary? A bit of both? If we're in game, we're in game. Socializing happens when we go out to smoke or yell at children. What races and classes do you prefer and why? I like to mix it up and try to challenge myself.

Buffy and Angel are awesome. I really have loved everything from "The Whedonverse" though. He's just a genius. LOL

Count me in! I love seeing people outside of the club. -
I've always loved them. This is so sad! It's odd, but Type O always reminds me of summer, and being care free, and being with friends. Their live performances were always top notch and they were very gracious and awesome the couple of times I went backstage. *sigh* The world has lost another brilliant musician.
