No, the Grasshopper is something completely unrelated to Mephistos. The Grasshopper is a small underground bar in Ferndale that has theme nights, and every Tuesday is goth night. I should have been clearer when I was explaining myself, sorry dude. I don't know what has become of the house that used to be Mephistos...I have not been in Hamtramck in a long time.

Mephistos possibly. It was a converted house in Hamtramck. I actually went to the Grasshopper about a month ago. It was hilariously dead.

Well Troy, you have to take time for yourself. When is the last time you have really taken time for yourself to improve your mental health? There is always low cost/free mental health care, and there are services in your area. I have heard Smalls is fun, but it's also in Hamtramck...which really sucks. I remember the old Necto, that was a nice place to go. I have a friend that has been going to the Grasshopper lately and seems to enjoy it. It just sucks it's in Ferndale!

Alright ladies and germs, I haven't been out in the nightlife in years, which makes me sad and bored. What are the new hotspots for all you kiddies to go out and have a good time? From what I have heard from others, City Club has been pretty much abandoned, and there are new places popping up a lot. I suppose I can still always live vicariously through others.

Good old Ghettoland, I mean Westland Mall. Well, I suppose Southland is trashier, but Wasteland Mall still looks really old. If you had the choice, I'd say get someone to take you out to 12 Oaks in Novi, that's a much better mall. Also, I'm sorry Livonia is that boring. I figured that it would have picked up a little bit over the years.

I used to live right by Livonia Mall. That mall was great. Somehow the old Sears is still standing there even though the mall has been gone for years (and is now a strip mall.) Livonia never seemed like it had anything really fun going on there. It doesn't have any real downtown shopping district, or any fun hole in the wall restaurants/bars. Hell there aren't any more pool halls there either. That makes me a sad panda. I suppose if you really get bored in Livonia there is always Laurel Park Mall/movie theater. That or walking around Meijer.
