They are calling it a reboot but technically it's not. They are going to ignore all the movies after Halloween II and this movie will take place 40 yrs after that. So in effect this will be Halloween III. So in actuality it is a sequel. This way they can ignore the Laurie Strode character's death in Halloween: Resurrection.

Maybe too much sugar? Or maybe some left over influence from Japan?

The original idea was the movies were to be a horror anthology. Each movie it's own story but after Halloween III Season of the Witch bombed and the fans wanted Michael to return, it was decided to make it a franchise based on Michael and not just horror movies centered around Halloween.

I posted a reply on the Facebook post questioning how this could work since the heroine is dead. The response I got is that this reboot will take place 40 years after Halloween II and that all the others will be ignored, like they never happened. The director is going to be the son of the original director. To me I believe this will be better than the remakes that were made.

Yes ladies and gentlemen, this is true. They are going to reboot Halloween and Jamie Lee Curtis is returning as Laurie Strode. Can't wait to see how they bring a dead character back since she died in Halloween Resurrection. Maybe the person differentiates between building and trouble shooting? Personally I see you like me, can build and trouble shoot and repair although I know I still can use help but I believe you 99% won't need help.

I was outside at that time. The guy with the beard came over from the gas station after going there from the motel. I didn't see anyone else outside. The lady left while I was outside and no one else was around other than the high guy and his friend.

Found out a little while ago that WYCD radio is holding a viewing event at Heritage Park in Taylor for this. Already told roommate to take the car to work instead of having someone get up to take him. So I won't get to go to it and they are handing out viewing glasses for it.
