You wouldn't have listened. I wouldn't either. As kids we think we already know everything and that our parents just don't get it. All we can do is be there if it happens and do our best to comfort and remind our kids that sometimes it just happens. They didn't do anything wrong and to help them to not let it turn them cold.

Not going to make it to the Gathering tonight. Car is dead and I haven't made arrangements for a ride. Tonight really sucks.

Very angry. There is a short in the car's electrical system. Wires started smoking. Seems that after disconnecting the battery for a while then reconnecting it, some systems are working again but the car won't crank. Looks like the car is dead. We found some wires burnt enough to completely melt the insulation off of them in several places. As it stands, the car is not drivable.

I can help you with that. Just need to get you over here and have Noelle bring the little ones over. 4 y/o and 3 y/o, you'll get your fill of the pidder padder .

That I will be tired of chicken soon. Brian's boss gave us 200 wings from Hooter's for the memorial. Have a lot left even after sharing with others to take home.
