  1. NO to all but painted toenails. I think it's gross to lengthen your toenails, plus it's HIGHLY unsanitary. I refuse to do this on any client. EVER.
  2. Like I don't want to go to this viewing, and look forward to going skating afterward.
  3. Yeah....uh...I have partial eyebrows. I have to draw them on. I hate to see people in ill-fitting corsets. If it doesn't fit, nor do what it is SUPPOSED to do, DON'T DO IT. And, this: http://www.sorryimissedyourparty.com/2009/...orce-alert.html
  4. I'm NOT looking to spend an arm and leg. I just want one that works so that maybe I can learn some shit. If you're looking to sell one on the super-cheap, holler. Please and thank you.
  5. I totally want a skirt like that. And a corset...
  6. Baltimore. We drive down on 7/2. I cannot WAIT to see my family again. My Dad. More and more every day. I thought this was SUPPOSED to get easier.
  7. LMAO.... Seriously, a LOT of high-end makeup artist who do major runway work use a LOT of Wet & Wild. It really ISN'T all MAC or Nars, etc. And Flori Roberts and Fashion Fair are INCREDIBLY shitty lines. How the HELL can you buy an OIL-FREE foundation, and still be a greasy chick???
  8. LMAO...I remember when I first visited Detroit, almost 5 years ago. Paperhearts kept calling me that. ALL night long. He was so fucking drunk.
  9. Where is your god, and if he exists, why hasn't he sped up the delivery of my new speed skates?
  10. I'm not fond of Clinique. The majority of their skincare is alcohol-based. Their foundations break ME out, and I can wear almost anything. Have them test on you, then wear it for the remainder of the day. Usually, if you're going to break out in some sort of rash, it happens almost immediately. I wait a whole day, just to be safe. It gives you the chance to wear it in almost all enviroments to seehow it reacts on your skin. Just because they're dressed like your gynecologist doesn't mean that they know what they're talking about.
  11. You're welcome. You can go to the Peta site to see who DOESN'T test on animals. Wet & Wild does NOT test on animals. Cover Girl (owned by Proctor & Gamble) DOES test on animals, and has for MANY years. I worked part-time in their warehouse way back when. I got this shit on good authority. I instantly quit. You're welcome. I tossed mine because I felt like shit. My favorite red haircolor is from L'Oreal. I won't be using it EVER again. And yes, most will take returns. Be aware that Maybelline and Lancome are also tested on animals, too. Lancome (and Maybelline...I think) is/are subsidiaries of L'Oreal. Good to know! Not all cheap shadows are hard to blend. If you have the skill, it CAN be done. I will fight that theory to my death. See above. There are also department store brands that have proven time and time again to be equally as bad. I know what I'm talking about, as I've worked for almost ALL of them. You all will find me discussing a LOT of what's Earth and animal-friendly. I'm doing a LOT of research on this!
  12. Mother's Day is a crock of shite. Go read the April/May issue of Bust Magazine. Page 059. The woman who got this crap started fought to her death to get it stopped. Seems that you can't stop Hallmark and the Devil Retail Machine! EVERY day should be MY day.
  13. Or, how about you all book appointments at Curl Up & Dye? Why not support a DGNer? THERE'S a great idea. At least I can guarantee that I know MY ass from a hole in the ground. Call 313-833-5006 and get your hair, nails, and massages from someone you know and trust. And if you don't trust me, your loss.
  14. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
  15. Pretty fucking sweet after reading the review! http://www.yelp.com/biz/curl-up-and-dye-detroit I know. It's so NOT goth to be happy. Tough shit.
  16. LOOK!!! http://www.yelp.com/biz/curl-up-and-dye-detroit
  17. Like I need more clients this week. Like I miss my Mom Like I miss my Dad more than ever Like I'm sleepy.
  18. Sitting at the shop, hoping for more appointments today. Actually, hoping for the remainder ofthe week to become ludicrously booked. I know it will fill, but I'm being very impatient today. I need to make money so I can book my hotel room for Baltimore in July!
