Fiber Art (Crochet, Knit, Sewn, Woven, Needlepoint, etc)

I don't doubt it. -
I had an amazing time at Downstairs at Joy Manor. I love the idea of having somewhere local to go periodically, as well as to socialize with many of my favorite people on here. Also, having some control over the music would be nice instead of whatever the club owners think will bring in the fresh, younger crowds. If this is something you'd be interested in, please answer the following questions: 1) Would you be interested in doing the same every 1, 2 or 3 months? 2) Would you like it to stay at one location or pop-up at different locations? I would appreciate if people didn't comment that we can go to an established club location, as that is and has always been an option.

How did you like the movie?

A-mazing. That looks rental costume quality. -
This was a memorial for DGN Founder, Troy Spiral (Crayson).

Here is a map (if anyone wants to use it) to identify where everyone is coming from when planning real live in person stuff. DGN used to have a map on Frappr but that is now defunct. I will not assume the ability to call it a DGN Map, so it is "Our Gothic Friends Map". https://www.google.com/mymaps/viewer?mid=1Btrxl2z-al3TNr4Uu0diJI9e6E9TspA&hl=en PS, don't pin your actual residence. Use a reasonable close location.

The $1215 was for Joy Manor, the dinner location and the catered food. This is very reasonable for the locations and the food quality. I wouldn't do it differently if I could go back. These costs were mostly paid for by the donations and the Joy Manor cover charge amounts. It WAS a good night. And it WAS fun. Many of the extraneous costs were for items that can be reused for times that we get together again, which I do plan to do.

She was super nice. I'm FB friends with her now. She saw the posting on a Detroit Gothic Facebook group. She lives in Westland and will be down for future events if we do them. Maybe next time she'll bring her husband too!

Dave (@sycosis) and I are happy to have spearheaded this memorial for Troy. We do not consider the $ to be a loss, but instead, it is a spend. We spent the time, energy and money as a gift to Troy's memory and to all those who loved, cared about, and supported him. Thank you to everyone who attended, donated, helped with setup and tear down, DJ'd, worked the door, and otherwise just helped to help spread the word. For those interested, here is the cost breakdown: Total Spend Food/Venue: -$1215.92 Total Spend Décor and Supplies: -$1341.47 Total Donations to Cover Cost: $1070 Specified as donation to Troy's Mom at Club Door: $142

What is your friend's name? I will put her down. Those candles are real but are just for the picture. We are not allowed open flame. I'm balking on that for sterno though, hot food must stay hot, IDK.
