In the movie, Abaddon is said to be the only fallen angel who was not cast into the fiery pit and will be the one who will bring the destruction of Creation. According to Wikipedia, Abaddon was originally a place until the book of Revelation gave the name to "the king of tormenting locusts and the angel of the bottomless pit". Since then, the word has been used in multiple sources for multiple purposes, some as a synonym to Satan himself.

I just heard about Abbadon for the first time last night when I watched Bloody Mallory.

There are a LOT of DGN gatherings that aren't official DGN events. For example, my wife (who I met through DGN) and I (another DGNer, obviously) hung out with three DGN members last night for dinner and movies, and we'll be getting together with 5-7 DGNers on Sunday to watch True Blood. So a lot of DGNers hang out a lot of the time but you'll never get to know these people and get invited to private events if you don't hang out with us and meet us at the public ones.

Lazy is right. 5 hours is a long day and you're on your ass the whole time? I'm on my feet for 10 hours a day, constantly moving, and lifting heavy things. Not to mention my commute of 20 minutes to an hour each way depending on which store I happen to be working at from week to week. And if I actually want to take a lunch I have to work an extra half hour to make up the time. And you know what? I actually love my job and will be sorely disappointed when this project is over with and I have to go back to 7-8 hour shifts with lunch included doing nothing but standing behind a register all day.

I wonder if the deer that eat apples from our tree are getting drunk. If so, that would explain why the stretch of Tienken in front of our sub has the highest car/deer collision rate in the state.

After just watching another episode of Deadliest Warrior, I'm going to have to add Spetsnaz to my list.

I think last night may have been a DGN record, or at least tied with last week. We had people coming out of the woodwork like Skyfire and MinaRose. Some newbies showed up like Havoc and others and it was great meeting everyone. I'm not even going to try making a list of everyone I saw 'cuz I just know I'll miss about half a dozen people and I got a little bit drunk so I may not even remember some things. But I did have a blast and hopefully it won't be months and months before TWB and I can make it out again.
