What kind of stuff does this plugin offer? Not like I'm a web developer or anything, but I do try to build and maintain my own site just 'cuz I can't afford to pay a professional. Any tool to make it easier (that doesn't suck hairy balls like FrontPage) and I can understand (unlike Dreamweaver which I really need to learn) I'm definitely interested in. -
ACCORDING TO YOUR ANSWERS, The political description that fits you best is... . CENTRIST CENTRISTS espouse a "middle ground" regarding government control of the economy and personal behavior. Depending on the issue, they sometimes favor government intervention and sometimes support individual freedom of choice. Centrists pride themselves on keeping an open mind, tend to oppose "political extremes," and emphasize what they describe as "practical" solutions to problems. Your PERSONAL issues Score is 50%. Your ECONOMIC issues Score is 60%.

Spook: "Dude, two chicks are making out." Doug: "Yeah, I'm used to that by now." Spook: "So am I but it's still hot." Doug: *thinks about it* "You're right. Dude, two chicks are making out." -

I loved having people walk up to me and ask, "Is that a kilt?" I say yes and they'd go, "I thought so. So you're Spook, right? I'm _____." Okay, so only Doug and Brass did that, but it was still cool. I did get a couple random people asking where I got it and stating how cool it was. Two of my favorite things all rolled into one: vinyl and kilts. -
^^^ Although it's only really funny if you include what preceeded it so we get the reference.

I've never known the boards with you around (even though you're the one who gave me the business card and told me to join). You're right, you did pick fantastic mods. I have no complaints at all really. Well, I complain that I can't view pics without getting ascii garbage and all the posts are still marked as unread and other glitches like that, but that's just a computer thing that happens whether you want it to or not and is a pain to fix. It's good to see you back and I look forward to seeing your input and impact.

Doh! :doh You beat me to it. As soon as I saw the topic of this thread I intended to post a picture of you. But then I clicked on the thread to read it and there you are. Second post. Take all my fun away.

If you mean seperately during the same meal, yes. If you mean together in one bowl, no.

Proof that Pirates are,in fact, better than ninjas.
n0Mad replied to Elegantly Wasted's topic in Pictures, Photography and Art
That I'd use to plunder their booty? On a completely unrelated note, I wrote a short story once where the ship this guy named Esteban is on is attacked by pirates. He draws his rapier and gets into a fight with the pirate captain wench Aileen. She draws a cutlass and Esteban starts laughing. "What the hell is that?" he asks. "It's a cutlass you dolt," she replies. "Well of course it's going to cut less. It's only sharpened on one side." Ah, witty banter during a swashbuckling duel. Good stuff. -

Meg - That pic you posted looks more like a ninja pirate than just a plain ol' ninja. Cyclops - A) You need an eye patch since you're already missing an I. 2) Why wasn't I invited? -
Heh heh ... I'm glad somebody got that reference. I like the way this thread was originally aimed at the lurkers but quickly turned into all the regular posters answering the title question rather than commenting on the message content. But, such is the way of DGN. That and threadjacking. Mmm ... Snapple. Made from the best stuff on earth. Kiwi Strawberry is the best.

I was going to a video/tv production trade school in 1996-1997 and a friend of mine from class took me there and I've been going back ever since.

What do you look for?
n0Mad replied to Troy Spiral's topic in Relationships, Pets & Domestic Homelife
Wow, so much to say and so little time to say it. Maybe I can write a post tomorrow. Thanks for everybody's support though. A few minutes ago I received a huge system shock. A group of people I thought were my friends, I guess are just tolerating me when I'm arround, but call me creepy behind my back. I don't know how that happened and I need to find a way to fix it. I think that situation and my lack of love life may be related. Am I creepy? What am I doing wrong? How can I stop it? -

I'll ghost write it for you. :laughing Being single and having the worst luck ever with women, I have a lot of free time on my hands. I tend to read a LOT. "Neuro-Linguistic Programming for Dummies", "The New Encylopedia of Stage Hypnotism", Stanislavski's ABCs ("An Actor Prepares", "Building a Character", "Creating a Role"), "A Sense of Direction" ... plus my little sister and I both studied theater in college. I saw her embrace a role so fully she cried for 20 minutes after the scene was over while the directer just rubbed her back and talked her down, and that was just a workshop exercise. Yeah, we actors are an emotional lot. So I guess that's another thing I look for in a gal, is one who can put up with my mood swings. FarrIL's seen them before, possibly even a severe one but I still don't think she's seen me at my worst. Heck, as emotional and moody as I can be, you'd think I was a woman. -

Yes, because brilliance and madness have a fine line between them. Often times there is no distinction. Of the two I'll take the intelligence. I can deal with the insanity as long as it compliments mine instead of contrasting it. -

I agree with Meg. The eyes do give a lot away. Just study NLP and you can tell what type of thought somebody is thinking whether visual remembered, visual constructive, auditory remembered, auditory constructed, or kinesthetic. The also reveal a lot about the emotional state of an individual to an experienced viewer. However ... Speaking as an actor, there are many methods of embracing a character. Stanislavski's ideas were developed into "Method Acting", Meisner has come up with some great ideas, and then there's Johnstone and plenty more. A good actor can almost literally reshape their soul into that of the character experiencing emotions that are very real even if it is just part of a script. These emotions can be so real in fact that after a scene (or even a workshop exercise) psychologists or other trained professionals have to be on hand to bring the actor down and back into reality. It's an amazing yet frightening phenominon. When an actor is on, you can look into their eyes and think you know their soul intimately, only to find out it was merely a character they're portraying. So yes, the eyes do reveal a lot about a person, but if you're good at masking, you can even hide your soul. -
