TaysteeWonderBunny and I definitely would not have the happy marriage we do if it weren't for DGN. But, rather than vanish to Facebook and bitch about how much DGN sucks, we still love and respect this place and I even became a Benefactor to thank the community for bringing my wife and I together.
I was at a goth/steampunk sort of event a couple days ago that involved a ukulele player. It was most enjoyable.
Yeah, there's only one person on DGN who is a true goth, but he's too busy telling everyone else that they're not goth to really be goth himself, so there goes that theory. And there's also a woman who's so goth, that she's not even goth anymore. Other than that, we're just all goth aficionado non-goths.
Those drums are beautiful. Even without the steampunk theme, the woods and lacquer are stunning. I love DW drums and will get some, someday, when I can afford them. And DW hardware is top notch of course. I play Sabian cymbals pretty much exclusively and Peart's are gorgeous! That finish, and the alchemy symbols ... awesome! Massive drooling going on right now.

I feel that DGN is what you make of it, so if you're dissatisfied, then it's your own fault. Not you specifically of course, but a general, universal, ambiguous you.
Certainly not! I love hats and wish more people would wear them. Fedoras (like yours) and akubras (the Australian version of a fedora) are my favorite, though I also like trilbies and flat caps. IMO though, baseball caps do not count as hats. So, yeah ... keep the hat.
