TWB and I went to a model train show a couple years ago and there was a really cool Lego train layout with some historical Detroit buildings all done in Legos. One even had a dragon perched atop it.

How early is early?

I have wondered this myself several times. When I was suffering from depression, I wrote poetry often. Dark brooding stuff. Don't know if it's any good or not, but I was emotionally moved to write often. But since being treated and relatively happy for many years now, I haven't written any poetry at all. Not even sappy love stuff. I'm just not emotionally inspired. I don't feel I have it any me anymore.

I agree with Phee ... mostly. I don't see the Right as solely responsible. I think the Left carry an almost equal burden and it's this whole two party system political mess in general that fosters a civil war. The media fuels the fire and it's just like reality TV, right vs. left, us vs. them, red vs. blue, pirates vs. ninjas ... There's no money in getting along, only in competition, and conflict degrades to the point where voices raise to shouts, then nobody can hear over the shouting any more so it gets violent. It's not a way to live. We need to eschew blind ideologies and start working together. I know it's a dream world I'm living in, but I keep voting third party hoping the middle will gain enough foothold that the wings will wake up and realize they won't get their way, they don't have all the power, and maybe, just maybe they'll cut the political machination bullshit, actually sit down at a round table, and start governing and legislating with their brains. Maybe we can start right here on DGN and stop being such dicks.

I'm thinking about producing a variety show there this Spring. I'll have to check their usages policies vs. the Leland and a few other places. Speaking of which, Raev and I need to get together to start scripting, budgeting, and auditioning.

Ah yes, feelings are far more important than empirical evidence and logic. I hope all of our law makers just go with their gut instead of using their heads. It will make the world a better place.

I went to Google Maps and put it in "Earth" mode. When you zoom in and out, a reticle appears in the center of the screen. Looks like a gun sight to me. I think Google wants us to destroy the whole Earth.
