I woke up screaming this morning with a massive leg cramp in my left calf. Nitrogenated beer + heat + almost no potassium = ouch. Other than that, 'twas an amazing weekend! I was even outmanned by my fiance.

Lot 8 is going to be lonely tonight. I have to work 'til 11pm and rather than drive out really late tonight, Calix and I will just come up early Saturday morning. But, we will be staying Saturday night and leaving Sunday.

No clue. I don't own a rifle ... yet. I inherited an over/under double barrel 12ga shotgun from my grandfather, and I have a .45 semi-auto (Springfield XD Compact) and a .357/.38 snubbie (S&W 340PD). For my first rifle I'll probably just get a Kalishnikov platform for something cheap and reliable until I can afford the M1.

When the military is buying your rounds, then 7.62 is the only option (if you can handle the weight). But if you're buying your own rounds, then 5.56 is very attractive. I still want to get the Springfield Socom II (M1 platform) though. It's 7.62/.308. :D

I had a magazine article published in Dec '07. I just got an e-mail from the editor today saying they would like to reprint it. If that's not exciting enough, they're giving me 60% more money for the reprint! I need to write more. Just 1 article a week and I could double my current income.

Rockula. It's probably one of the worst movies ever, yet it's so campy that you just have to love it. They spend the whole movie setting up a really lame pun at the end so of course it's my style. The music is awful, yet catchy and you'll have it stuck in your head all day. Oh, and Toni Basil has a major role and does all the choreography. Definitely worth getting a group of friends together for a goofy movie night.

Kindred: The Embraced TV series? It really wasn't that good, yet 'twas awesome. I think the problem was mostly Aaron Spelling. Chris Carter would've been a better choice.
