Critter's Goth Auctions Continue
Fierce Critter replied to Fierce Critter's topic in General Promotion & Want Ads
Holy crap these auctions did well. Skirts coming up this week. Maybe dresses, boots & lingerie, too. -
Not going to bother listing everything here. If you're interested in anything, let me know. Might have to let the auctions ride-out. NO clue what they might go for. FierceCritter Auctions on Ebay

All the bars and restaurants and the like are packed to the gills just as they always were up here in the Traverse City area. I have a very strong reaction to cigarette smoke. That has kept me from going to venues in the past. Now, I don't hesitate to go to a bar or club. So the ban has HELPED me frequent places I have sometimes opted to skip due to physical discomfort.

First lot: 5 Tutus/petticoats/crinolines
Fierce Critter replied to Fierce Critter's topic in General Promotion & Want Ads
Un-be-fucking-lievable. These went out at $36.00. I wouldn't have sold these at TWICE that price. New gameplan. Everything I sell is going up with a "Buy it Now" and "Best offer" option. Still working on everything. But I'll keep sharing here. -
I have to admit - I owe DGN a big fat "Thank you." I got stuck over a relative's house on Saturday - ALL FREAKING DAY. And I have a massive amount of work to do to get some auctions up on ebay to pay the freaking May rent. I ended up bringing stuff with me to clean up, iron, and describe. The relative has an ANCIENT freaking computer with Windows ME, and some godawful version of Netscape on dial-up. Knowing it would be something like this, I at least prepared to bring a blank CD-ROM in case they at least had a CD Writer. And forgot to bring the disk. I got through over 35 item descriptions before I realized I wasn't going to be able to save it to take home. So I get on the internet. OMG. I couldn't bring up gmail. I couldn't bring up AOL mail. I couldn't bring up facebook. I couldn't bring up Myspace. I couldn't bring up ANYTHING that would enable me to copy/paste the text into a message or e-mail or anything... ... until I tried DGN. A couple tries didn't work. And what comes up under circumstances like that is pretty freaking horrible on-screen. But I was able to sign-in, and copy/paste the text as a response to one of my own posts. Checked DGN on my phone, and yep - though the posted response would not show for me on the computer, it did show on the phone. So, thank you, DGN. You really came through for me, ole' buddy.

Custom made hot pink rhinestone / crystal / studded Converse All Star Chuck Taylor Hi Tops. I made these myself in the late 80's. Originally either optic white or off white (forget which), I dyed them hot pink, then applied hot pink plastic rhinestone studs. The studs do NOT show on the inside, as I separated the inner from outer fabric so the studs wouldn't rub on feet or socks (see detail picture). Also feature metallic hot pink laces. A few stones missing on one shoe, I actually still have extras of these hanging around somewhere. If/when I come across them, I will ship to you free of charge. Size 6-1/2 men's or 8-1/2 women's. Worn, condition as shown in pictures, VERY GOOD or better. I honestly have NO clue what to charge for these. Custom Chucks can go for a lot, and I've not seen a pair like this. Make me an offer, I'll think about it. There are more pictures of these in my gallery - "For Sale" album.

First of my lots of clothing for sale. I am hoping for $150 on ebay (Ones similar to the yellow one by the same company generally fetch around $50 alone) If anyone is interested, let me know, including your zip code for shipping. I'll give you Paypal payment info. Once payment is made, I'll pull the listing. ******************************************** Note: Mannequin is a very small size. All items are adjusted in place for display, but do fit a 26/28 as stated. Collection of plus size tutus or petticoats. Mostly tulle, with some satin or lace accents. I wore these when a size 26/28, with a large stomach. Each has elastic waist. Each as follows: Very full vintage red tulle with cotton waist by Ruthad, Detroit, Michigan. Internet searches place this 50's and up, cannot confirm. Measures 20" long. Waist was pulled up by original owner and tacked with large stitches - easily removed to allow for more length if preferred. New elastic was also put in. Black overlayer is a double-layer of pointed-hem black tulle and was applied by me with large stitches and also can be very easily clipped and removed if you prefer. GORGEOUS scene stealer at the club, and hard to let go of. Vintage yellow tulle with satin edging by Malco Modes of California (internet searches date it from the 50's or 60's). Measures 25" long. Tag says "medium" but I find that hard to believe - I am a 26/28 with a disproportionately large waist measurement and it stretched to fit me fine. Very possibly made of nylon or rayon - both of which dye beautifully with Rit dyes. My intention was to dye it green or orange, but did not get around to it. Violet/purple Torrid brand - unworn with tags. Torrid size 3/4. 15" long. Stretchy, satin waist, tulle with lace edging in a double layer. Note: My picture's color came out odd. The inset picture is the original one from the Torrid website. Black Torrid - worn once. Size 3/4. 15" long. Stretchy satin waist. Tulle with lace edging in a double layer. DIY Blue tulle. Homemade by knotting strips of tulle with diagonally pointed ends to elastic band. Length of strips vary, longest being around 33". Made by me but never worn. All items come from a non-smoking, pet-loving home.

I'm putting like-items into lots. The majority of the stretchy, short skirts in that lot are anywhere from a small through a large. They work on me because I put them under long tops. But yeah, besides those and the shoes/boots, this is bigger stuff. I've also lost weight so I probably wouldn't even be able to wear the corsets now. I was already able to tightlace one of them to the point of the grommets nearly touching. I bought the other two in a smaller size, but they'd still probably only fit down to a size 20 maybe. Off to work on all that now. I'm going to put the auctions up on ebay, but I'll share each one here with the price I'd want/expect to have the auctions top out at and shipping costs. If anyone wants the lot, I'll cancel the auction as soon as Paypal payment is received and ship it right out to the buyer.

Thanks. It's not that big a deal. I haven't worn any of this on for probably 5 years. Jon and I just dropped out of the scene, and then we moved up north. My style has gone more toward peasant tops, jean shorts and "Made In India" blouses. Not anything resembling a "goth" scene up here. I'm keeping the more punk clothes that really always were more my style. Fishnets with boots and plaid boxers, mesh shirts over half shirts. My biker jacket. Stuff like that. I'm only not happy about the corsets. Because they're not replaceable now. But they'll probably bring the biggest bucks.

I'm going to be selling off the majority of my clubbing wardrobe shortly. Everything is plus sized, mostly around size 26/28. Like items will be sold in lots. Such as: 3 leather corsets - Alter Ego Erotics (out of business. Someone bought out their stock and are selling it off on ebay still, but their stock is very limited) I'm super reluctant to sell these off, since getting replacements would be next to impossible. But for the right price, I'll probably let them go. 5 tutus - various colors, quantity may vary up or down, I forget what I've got. 2 pairs Demonia boots - size 9 I think. Black cherry platforms that have NEVER been worn, and black patent knee-hi platforms with minimal wear Possibly a lot of various shoes, all around size 8-1/2, gotta see what I've got Possibly my Converse Chuck Taylor collection. I think I have around 10-13 pairs, all around size 8-1/2 Large lot of tops - everything from stripes to t-shirts to fishnet, not sure how many altogether. Possibly a few skirts - some small sizes but stretchy so look great under longer tops. Pretty sure I have a lot of gauzy, witchy pieces, too. Possibly some jewelry. Possibly a huge assortment of synthetic hair - everything from black to blonde to UV-reactive neon. I have two 18 gallon bins full, the vast majority never opened. Purchased to make falls that I'm no longer interested in hawking. Some accessories such as giant hair bobbles, etc. Maybe a few other items, not sure what I have yet. I won't know what I'm charging until I have everything out, photographed and assembled into lots. I will be asking what I think I could get on Ebay if I were to sell there, haven't decided if I'll go that route yet. If interested, drop a response here or PM me. Should be working on this all in the next week. Jon and I are out of work and need to make rent by the end of April. One or both of us might be working in a couple weeks, so I might hold back on the corsets until I know for sure. Otherwise, everything goes.

Remarkable. Been on Wellbutrin since the first of the year. I can't stand sitting at the computer for more than a few minutes anymore, whereas for years I'd be at the keyboard 8 hours a day or more. I am moving. I've lost 20 pounds. I'm getting things done, and can't stand sitting still anymore. My senses have sharpened. I'm seeing, hearing, feeling things I never even noticed before. And don't even get me started on my sex life. Yes, 'tis a wonderful thing to actually be LIVING my life. (I'm also not checking/posting very regular here anymore. Any questions about Wellbutrin or related, PM me.)

Like I've been gutted, thrown in the road, run over, and scraped up to do it all over again. And that it's over. And things are good again. Fucking Amen.
