  1. If you are sensitive to the deceased, can feel or hear, I'd recommend going. It made it immensely easier to deal with loosing my grandpa. He was so much happier after. That will never change the fact that I miss him, but it made it easier.
  2. Hopefully you enjoyed the cake and my bad karaoke! Happy mutherfuck'n birthday bitch!
  3. Godiva had some half-off deals last time I went in.... Dang sales and cute boxes and yummy candy... Godiva foils my save money plan! I have cute stuff for which to put designs on nails... 'Tis spiffy.
  4. McDonald's and paper trees.... http://www.fastcompany.com/blog/ariel-schwartz/sustainability/artist-turns-fast-food-trash-delicate-paper-trees?partner=yahoobuzz
  5. I'm confused... Shouldn't you be... "OMG! Yay! BACON!!!! Friggin' Bacon!!! Huzzah!"
  6. Don't do so many call backs. Just after an interview. Good God I used to hate when people would call to "check the status of their application" that if they did it more than once it went into the toss pile. It wasted so much time for my staff that I'd rarely even let anyone know we were hiring. Send small thank you cards after an interview, cite specific examples of how you could be an asset, and keep it short. It is quick and doesn't waste the time of the staff and interviewer. Also, consider how your resume is written. I'd be happy to review it, just pm me.
  7. My link Roughly the color I have. This link can show you different mica pigments you can get for your colors.
  8. If I have the day off you're welcome to ride with me. I'm debating costuming now...
  9. I feel that is becoming a new trend... It should be very interesting. If it keeps up reproduction rates might actually decline. My love/hate relationship with being single is leaning toward loving my single status.
  10. I'm going to stand here and think about bacon... For no reason, but to think about bacon.
  11. I got a bushel of green beans that I split with my mom at Eastern Market... Price $4... Time spent preping to freeze... Well I'll let you know if I finish.
  12. Lipgloss has several bases, one is beeswax and olive oil- I like to make things as natural as possible. I'm sure I could get back into researching the other more complicated bases, but like I said- the more natural the better.
  13. Was that you I saw at Trixies on Sunday?

The eyeshadow is a very light color, so I dunno. I can see if I can find some online though.

  14. I could poke around with making you that lipstick if my beeswax guy shows up at Eastern Market at some point, but my blue eyeshadow is a light electric blue.

  15. Just use a fun blue eyeliner. Your friend is right though, lipstick base is based on lip balm and the coloring comes from a mica pigment. I have mica pigment eyeshadow that is designed to mix with lip gloss to create a lipstick- if I want. I'll have to find out what the name of the brand is. If you're really dedicated to this idea I can give you some recipies and if you search lipstick mica on google you should come up with the base powder to mix with a beeswax based lip balm. Bonus: if you add lots of peppermint flavoring- not only do you taste good, but it plumps your lips a bit.
  16. I've made out with a guy who looked the "tourist" part per se... He was wearing kakhis and a t-shirt, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt as it was his first time to the club. I eventually found him to be boring though.
  17. Lemming free... I'm suffering from a middle toe that won't crack. Man, my foot has hurt for days... not as bad now, but dang I've been hobbling.
  18. I dunno... I've been trying to keep the emotions out for so long that a song threw me for a nasty loop. I spent a few days isolated to deal with it, but I'm going to assume that a balance would work better. Not sure I'll find that, there's no undoing my hurts, they go to far back, but good luck to you.
  19. That's what I tried... Sorry, you got them... Currently I'm the bad guy.
  20. She tormented me for the last time, is disowned, and I'll be selling that necklace now.
  21. 941 of 956 people found the following review helpful: 5.0 out of 5 stars Make this your only stock and store, July 8, 2008 By Edgar (Baltimore) - See all my reviews Once upon a mid-day sunny, while I savored Nuts 'N Honey, With my Tuscan Whole Milk, 1 gal, 128 fl. oz., I swore As I went on with my lapping, suddenly there came a tapping, As of some one gently rapping, rapping at the icebox door. 'Bad condensor, that,' I muttered, 'vibrating the icebox door - Only this, and nothing more.' Not to sound like a complainer, but, in an inept half-gainer, I provoked my bowl to tip and spill its contents on the floor. Stupefied, I came to muddle over that increasing puddle, Burgeoning deluge of that which I at present do adore - Snowy Tuscan wholesomeness exclusively produced offshore - Purg'ed here for evermore. And the pool so white and silky, filled me with a sense of milky Ardor of the type fantastic of a loss not known before, So that now, to still the throbbing of my heart, while gently sobbing, I retreated, heading straightway for the tempting icebox door - Heedless of that pitter-patter tapping at the icebox door - I resolved to have some more. Presently my soul grew stronger; hesitating then no longer, 'This,' said I, 'requires an extra dram of milk, my favorite pour.' To the icebox I aspired, motivated to admire How its avocado pigment complemented my decor. Then I grasped its woodgrain handle - here I opened wide the door; - Darkness there, and nothing more. Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing, Doubting, dreaming dreams of Tuscans I had known before But the light inside was broken, and the darkness gave no token, And the only words there spoken were my whispered words, 'No more!' Coke and beer, some ketchup I set eyes on, and an apple core - Merely this and nothing more. Back toward the table turning, all my soul within me burning, Soon again I heard a tapping somewhat louder than before. 'Surely,' said I, 'surely that is something at my window lattice; Let me see then, what thereat is, and this mystery explore - Let my heart be still a moment and this mystery explore; - 'Tis the wind and nothing more!' From the window came a stirring, then, with an incessant purring, Inside stepped a kitten; mannerlessly did she me ignore. Not the least obeisance made she; not a minute stopped or stayed she; But, with mien of lord or lady, withdrew to my dining floor - Pounced upon the pool of Tuscan spreading o'er my dining floor - Licked, and lapped, and supped some more. Then this tiny cat beguiling my sad fancy into smiling, By the grand enthusiasm of the countenance she wore, Toward the mess she showed no pity, 'til I said, 'Well, hello, kitty!' Sought she me with pretty eyes that seemed to open some rapport. So I pleaded, 'Tell me, tell me what it is that you implore!' Quoth the kitten, 'Get some more.'
