  1. Are you sure that it isn't the highly cancerous and dangerous pesticides and antibiotics we put into our cows' food here in America that you're tasting? Our jugs should be just fine! It's the milk that's tainted.
  2. I laugh at this statement because I'm from Fraser and I know exactly what you're talking about. To this day I don't know how I survived K-12 in their system without being burned at the stake for being a "devil worshipping witch" (who happened to go to church every Sunday at Lakeshore Presbyterian ).
  3. Linda's at 9 Mile and Van Dyke has been a staple for drunk goths over the last couple decades. Unlike fascist restaurants such as Denny's or Ram's Horn, there is no such thing as a non-smoking section, you can drink as much coffee as you want without ordering anything else, and there is only one waitress at a time and YET...the best service around. It's baffling to me how this works, I do not question however, I merely accept it. One other thing: PANCAKES. Fuck yes. If you are a connoisseur of pancakes as much as I am, I have two words for you: Cinnamon butter. I know this doesn't sound like a big deal, and personally when my friend Rachel told me about them all those years ago I thought the same. I was promptly corrected...it IS a big deal. Apparantly, as Linda has told us (and yes she's both alive and still the owner of the joint after all these years) it's a perfect blend of butter, cinnamon, and honey. One ingredient that I have a feeling she failed to inform us of is: God. God lives in the butter-spread at Linda's and clearly, Jesus is in the pancakes. Just a mere bite of said goodness is enough to cause you to involuntarily, and embarassingly, sexually climax in your booth. They've got some good-ass bread pudding also.
  4. I've always wanted to get a Crawford but can't because of my job. Looks cute on you!
  5. I actually meant to put you on the roster as paid because I knew that you were supposed to pay me very soon and it's pretty much money in the back. I fixed it at the top so you're on the list now. See you tomorrow.
  6. Bum a ride off of someone you know who is going and then quit your job! Easy solution .
  7. Muhahaha...I am planning MANFAST in a few weeks...are you excited?

  8. Who is paid up and going: Myself obviously Pestilence (another given) Our friend Ricky who we've been trying to get on DGN for God-knows-how-long Raev Hunhee Lillylu29 Fidget +guest KatRN05 cravenbear Timata The_game Who has expressed a very strong interest and/or is going for sure but just has not arranged payment yet: Iris +sister Garbeldena +guests (has not said exactly how many) Tyger Probably Constantin because, well, he's Constantin Total spots TAKEN: 12 Pre-emptively reserved spots: 7 Meaning as of 8:55pm, 2/25 we have ELEVEN total spots left. Note that this includes the people who are most likely going but have either not said for sure yet or have not paid up yet.
  9. Pssst. Puh-leeeeaze. I fixed it before either of you even noticed . I win. Speaking of winning...Raev, are we still down for our little competition? I have my sparkly losers bow ready for my girly blonde hair.
  10. I just make it so all of you have to try extra hard just to read it!
  11. Today...I made the reservation for Laser Quest! For those of you who did not see the original thread, the info is as following: MARCH 6TH! 5:00pm - 8:00pm How it breaks down: There are going to be three 20 minute games. The arrival time for the group is technically 5pm, but as someone who is perpetually late to everything I personally suggest being there around 4:45! The first game STARTS at 5:20, the next game starts at 6:00, and the last game is at 6:40. At 7pm we will get our own room to sit in and plot the destruction of stuff and things while we all munch on pizza and drink pop because I am apparantly goddamn generous and <3 you guys. I will not require you to pay for pizza, but I would HIGHLY love you if you had the kindness to throw a few bucks, something minor like two or three dollars depending on how much you stuff down. If you don't donate and I see you being a rude ass and drinking like five cups of pop and slamming down 6 slices of pizza, I will most likely pull you aside politely and discreetly to tell you that you're being an asshole. If you donate money and there is a decent amount of pizza I will not likely care so much. We're all adults here, or if you're a child you're going to be with an adult, so I politely remind everyone to act accordingly! The all important awesomeness of PRICING: We are allowed UP TO 30 people in the group. THE MORE PEOPLE THE LOWER THE PRICE. People have already been tossing me money and I will post a list underneath this post that will be continually updated. PRICE PER PERSON: $16.50. This is a STEAL. For anyone who has played Laser Quest at this one (all other ones suck hard) it is normally somewhat expensive, I believe like 7 or 8 dollars, equalling out to 21-24 dollars per person if you just play walk-in for three games. Also, with walk-in you do not get to choose the style of game. We're going to have a free-for-all one, and one of them we'll go all Tron style and do red team versus blue team...but the third...? Have not decided yet. But before I go off on another tangent, the gist of what I'm saying is: You save a shit ton more money this way by doing group, it is more fun, and we get a room to hang out in for almost an hour or such after the game. You can't ask for much more than that, and if you can...well stop being a greedy biotch! Reservations are FIRST COME FIRST SERVE and there are only THIRTY slots open! Here is how: PM me. I was originally doing a system where I had a date range where only DGNers could sign up with ONE guest...but since it's fairly close to the deadline, you can sign up with more than one guest. Go for it, knock yourself out. Next big important part: ALL PAYMENTS ARE DUE BY: MARCH 3RD.. This is crucial to YOU because I don't care what excuse there is there are no exceptions to this rule. If you do not pay by March 3rd and are on the roster list and someone else who wants your spot and has the money to go then guess what? You're not going. I'm PRETTY strict to this. If I KNOW you VERY well I MAY make an exception since we are so close to the date. I am not horribly unreasonable...only moderately. Please PM me if you want to go but absolutely CANNOT pay by that date and I may work something out with you, but let me know ASAP! Last but not least: WHERE! This will be at the best Laser Quest EVAR which is located on John R. north of 13 Mile in Madison Heights. Their webpage is here: www.laserquest.com For people who have a strange aversion to clicking a link on a website in order to have it frighteningly pop-up in your face, here is the address: 31401 John R. Madison Heights, MI Any further questions should be directed towards my inbox. If you are excited and just want to let someone know how excited you are, I also accept those PMs aswell. Who is paid up and going: Myself obviously Pestilence (another given) Our friend Ricky who we've been trying to get on DGN for God-knows-how-long Hunhee Lillylu29 Slogo Fidget +guest Lucifer cravenbear Timata The_game Iris Faith_Evermound Tyger Msterbeau Oh My Goth! Garbeldena +3 guests (at the moment, is probably adding more) Stormknight Eevee Who has expressed a very strong interest and/or is going for sure but just has not arranged payment yet: Probably Constantin because, well, he's Constantin Total spots TAKEN: 23 Pre-emptively reserved spots: 1 Meaning as of 10:05, March 5th we have SIX total spots left. Note that this includes the people who are most likely going but have either not said for sure yet or have not paid up yet.
  12. WOW...you just took me back so many years with that song that I feel like I am old and should be farting out dust.
  13. Yay, someone else from Macomb County hopping on DGN. Eastside represent! :-P

  14. Do you guys copyright and full-service publish (i.e. hardcopy books, not just the internet)? If so I may consider it. I don't want to put anything that is significant on the internet without copyrighting my shit first because I don't want it being ripped by some asshole who is idealess. I'm not trying to kiss my own ass, trust me I do that enough on my own, but it's quite good and very original, so I worry about that aspect. Even if you don't hardcopy publish, I may still be interested, as long as I know that my work cannot be stolen and that it will officially registered under the law as my own.
  15. Still knocking out the trilogy I've been on the fence about for years. I started it in high school on my computer and Boshy is fucking nuts (I'm not outing her, I've told her this) and felt the urge to erase the OS on my computer THREE times for no reason without warning me to back up my shit first. Needless to say my novels were lost both times (originally it was only going to be one book, but I figured out that it will require three for optimum awesomeness) and so was every picture I've ever taken in high school. Then I started writing it again when I was 19 but was in a very low point of my life. Everytime I wrote even a single sentence I felt like an idiot because "I can't do anything right" and therefore procrastinated and avoided it all together. Now I realize that was all retarded and I have been cranking it out at mach speed and at least the first one should be FULLY finished by the end of 2010, the last two will be drafted but not finalized. I mean it's possible but not likely. Look for previews in the Your Creation thread soon enough!
  16. ....? The reason it is called "Labyrinth Memories" is because it has been closed now for awhile and most likely permanently this time. Actually, Labyrinth was technically the first club night I ever went to. Electro-Industrial Wednesday at Luna was the first time going to a club while I was over 21. Both times it was with my boyfriend at the time, Ron. Labyrinth sucked when we went and it was the only time we ever bothered to go. There was about four people there and it was a dank basement, we definately went when it was on its way out. I've heard stories of it being amazing back in the day. How my understanding of what the unofficial setup went was that back in the day more of the youngins who were of the more modern rivethead/cyber-industrial assortment would tend to go upstairs to CC and all of the awesome old school goths would tend to gravitate towards Labyrinth. The scene has started a horrible decline and is getting deeper into terrible taste year after year. After awhile everything popular was watered down trancy industrial that is absolutely repetative and boring to listen to and doesn't evoke much thought (not to be confused with awesome EBMdustrial-ectro), and that is what sealed the Labyrinth's fate...along with bad management. I really wish we had a constant old school night in Metro Detroit, but that will probably not happen. At least CC has the consideration to throw an old school night here and there a few times a year and to play more of the older and more dark stuff on Fridays. Wish I would have got to see it in its hey-day. I hate being a younger person, I feel like I should have been born 20 years earlier than I was due to my tastes and interests *le sigh*.
  17. WOW A+ I bow and kiss your shiny patent-leather shoes
  18. Still waiting on Raev to upload the Dirty Show beating pictures because I already have a feeling that they're going to be my favorite.
  19. It doesn't...? I'm confused now, tickled for me . She actually drew blood also, but whatever, I'm sure the scars will disappear eventually.
  20. You're still depriving people of my fairly-bare ass, Raev. Where are these pictures?
  21. They actually three DDR games for Wii if I'm not mistaken. Also, all of the fans thought that DDR was going to be discontinued on xBox and never come out for PS3 because it was supposed to be released in November, but it never happened, it just seemingly fell off the planet. Low and behold I was in Game Stop about a week ago and saw on their upcoming releases list that both are due out in March . Oh and Wii DDR has Flock of Seagulls. You now must buy it. Within a few months I'm going to be throwing down three-hundred dollars on this bad bitch right here: And you can come over and stomp on the glory of it to your heart's desire.
  22. *whew* No incriminating photos of me on the St. Andrew's cross with my skirt up getting beat on the internet anywhere yet . But I have a feeling Raev is going to change that . At least my undies were teh sex.
