I was working, first day on my new job, didn't get home until 2am! How was it?

DGN @ City Club, Saturday, September 10th. Come. Join us. Meet us. Hang out. We're not that scary in person, really. Leland City Club 400 Bagley Street Downtown Detroit You enter by going through an unmarked door on the First Street side of The Leland Hotel building just before the gated parking area on the side of the building nearest 1st Street. The club is at the top of the stairwell. (see picture in the link above in the DGN calendar entry) All are welcome. Come meet some of us weirdos. Saturday nights from 10:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. Alcoholic drinks until 2:00 a.m., pop and juices served all night. Admission is $4 18 and up, 21 to drink with proper ID (no exceptions). I'd rock so much of that wardrobe, not just hers, but everything that everyone's wearing also. It's funny that goths make fun of her, because if she walked into CC wearing any of those gothy outfits and WASN'T Lady Gaga, you'd all be kissin' her tits calling her a Dark Goddess . So pretentious, but without effort, I love it....secretly....with guilt :fear:. And Beyonce rocks the yellow at the end SO well, I've always been jealous of black girls because yellow and black look so much better on them, imo. Think Tonya from Mortal Kombat. They also kill an entire diner full of average citizens in the end of the music video, including someone's dog, and then dance about it in celebration. That's darker than anything VNV Nation has ever come out with...*runs*.

Sad, because when I was looking for "lost cat" ads in Craislist regarding the stray we recently picked up, whom we endearingly have labeled "The Claw", I saw a post from someone reporting a deceased beige dog in between 6 Mile and 7 Mile and Mound. It then occurred to me that I almost ran over that dog on the way down to Industrial Wednesday last week.

I respect you immensely, and we are also in very different spots, politically and spiritually. Most people I respect aren't people that agree with me, ironically enough.

My Boshy, Pestilence, Ogre, some area DJs, fellow moderators. But, mostly, I respect myself for winning 26 years straight, and continuing on with the tradition into the future.

Obsessed, for various reasons, still to this day. Clearly I'm a gay club kid that moved to NYC with a dream only to find E and H instead...that's it . I adore James St. James as a person, he's such a witty hedonist, I've seen the movie hundreds of times and read the autobiography (that the movie was based off of, obviously) probably at least a dozen. Still can't decide whether the book or movie is better. Not a fan of Rocky Horror Picture Show, but love Party Monster, probably because nearly 100% of it was actual event that happened irl. It's so outrageous and destructively fabulous, how could I not?

Skinny Puppy, and then there's been a bunch of saucy smooth bands being introduced to me by the Mars Bar DJs. Crystal Castles and Tying Tiffany come to mind for me, and recently I've been falling for Cold Cave. Ladytron is another, but they're starting to get old to listen to for me. I've heard they have a new album though, I should probably check it out.
