I love Siren and Tyger...but on my job... I FUCKING HATE ALL CALLERS FROM CANADA! Always so polite in person, but the second you're taking an order from them and they're the "customer", you get yelled at when they say things wrong, you explain terms and conditions and for no reason it's "I want to talk to your manager", I repeat their info back to them and they say things like "What are you stupid? This is such a long process, unbelievable..." Reminds me of this guy here:

DGN @ City Club, Saturday, August 20th. Come. Join us. Meet us. Hang out. We're not that scary in person, really. Leland City Club 400 Bagley Street Downtown Detroit You enter by going through an unmarked door on the First Street side of The Leland Hotel building just before the gated parking area on the side of the building nearest 1st Street. The club is at the top of the stairwell. (see picture in the link above in the DGN calendar entry) All are welcome. Come meet some of us weirdos. Saturday nights from 10:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. Alcoholic drinks until 2:00 a.m., pop and juices served all night. Admission is $4 18 and up, 21 to drink with proper ID (no exceptions). No drugs, weapons, chains or spikes. Zoomable map to City Club. MDOT lane closures (The map isn't quite exact. The Ramada is located within the Bagley, 1st, Cass, Plaza Dr. block.) I love the Mortal Kombat series more than most evangelicals love Jesus, and we picked up the new one through trading in games at Game Stop (We've been trying to figure out how we were going to afford it, but with game-trade in, it then becomes "free"). Not only is the new fighting engine RIDICULOUS (and I say that with full erection), but the x-ray views are amazing, the tag-team feature is innovative for the series, and best of all? The story line. Sure there are other fighting games with a "better" engine (and actually, after this release I would argue that), but nothing can compare to the brutal nihilistic depth that is the MK legacy. My question...what is everyone's favorite character? I've had this conversation with many people, and for some reason always enjoy talking about it. I've always thought you can tell something about people through their preferences, so that's why I find it so interesting. It doesn't have to be "favorite", it can be a few, top three, etc.

I've had it on my list, but forgot that it came out. I'll have to pick it up. Being one myself, I always support local area writers, especially in the scene (and especially if they, you know, sound talented and can write, which is a test you pass).

Criteria for an "official" event: Events don't have to be "official" however to be posted on DGN.

I guess with a Canadian takeover, we'll have to loosen up the functioning of our systems...

Posted this the last time a similar thread was put up (I believe last year or so). Also brought up the fact that we were shot down on doing DGN Appreciation Night there. I guess after making the complaint, and no change, I was just going to scrape the sand out my vagina and let it be. It's nice to hear other people agree though.
