  1. Nobody worth anything has come through here in a minute, except Killing Joke, and I missed that one...
  2. Shenanigans! KatRN already did that one! At least I think it was her. Anyhow, surprised nobody got this bad muh fugga:
  3. Sounds like you're making out better for your birthday than going to Emilie Autumn!
  4. Been on hold with Comcast for about 15 minutes now...wtf Phee...

  5. Mmm...I could get down on some crawdads. And yeah, since I eat damn near anything edible, I always think of that with any species.
  6. Pissed off. Our pit just chewed up one of my nice purple hats... .
  7. Trying to clean my room, morale is low. We haven't had coffee in this house for almost a week now.
  8. This king stuff is threadjacking you guys. Was fun for a minute but now it's over after this post, kay? I'm just mad I didn't get a chance to jump in while I had the... ...wait, someone order a Lich King?
  9. There is no actual way that I could agree with you any more than I do right now. This song DRIVES ME CRAZY. I've hated it as early back as I can remember.
  10. You just got trolled by the Onion . It happens. Not very often anymore though, Phee's (and the eternal if I remember correction) been posting stuff from the Onion off and on here for some time now, but it does happen still.
  11. *Facepalm* So...I'm the only one here that interpreted the sentence "Napalm sticks to kids" as an anti-violence protest? Maybe I just listen to industrial and all, but that's how I took it. So because Ogre steps up on stage talking about murder and covered with blood he's a serial killer and none of us should support him. (Correct answer: He SHOCKS as a PROTEST against such things, to open our eyes. Some people cannot fathom violence unless they experience an aspect, or a shocking idea regarding it, first hand.) I personally always thought his signature was a pretty intriguing way of bringing it to attention. Or maybe I'm a nut job and candyman wants to run around the streets killing babies and dropping napalm on elementary schools... Clearly certain people have difficulties picking up on nuances, subtleties, and metaphorical statements...etc. Nothing is in black and white except black and white themselves (or REALLY old TVs...even then, there's some gray in there ).
  12. At the time this morning you posted this I thought the same exact thing. Happy to know that we stand corrected . Rate it's still going we could easily see a ft, imo. We're already up over half, just need a feeeew more inches.
  13. FUCK YES. I woke up, looked out the window, and it was like getting Christmas presents all over again. Felt a little jipped at first because it was a mere 8:30am and the snow had seemingly stopped. I later rejoiced after going to sleep again, waking up, and looking outside to the second part of the blizzard. I <3 Michigan. People that live in places like Florida are super nuts, imo! Really wish I had money for a lift ticket. I'd get in my car and head up to Mt. Holly today if I did.
  14. FUCK YES! Who's coming over to the Chateau to help me put the finishing renovations on the snow condos? Think I'm naming the complex "Wintergrasp"... Now for something 100% serious: I fucking love snow. I am a blend of nationalities that comes from the northern parts of Europe, including Scandinavian. That's like being surprised a husky would love it in Alaska.
  15. Like I'm more than ready to take twelve inches.... Of snow
  16. Nooo...I'm sorta turning into Gary Busey now... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=noKVrNK2VKM&playnext=1&list=PL6BEB640B6EE0CFA6
  17. Couldn't agree more. A genre of industrial I hardly touch for instance is aggrotech, almost all of it is newer stuff. Same droning pounding drum beat with some blips in the background that are ALSO the same repetitive thing, with a "vocalist" so synthesized that you can't even consider them a singer of any sort at this point, gurgling incoherent babble the WHOLE song. Now, there are many of these elements that were in older industrial, I'll admit, but in those days the artists would arrange them to be *gasp* actually interesting! Just imo. Now any jackass with five brain cells can get on their laptop, open up some cheat program like Frooty Loops, make a stupid drum beat, add three layers of the same note over and over again, sprinkle obligatory B horror movie voice samples, and there you go, what I consider crap but many in this scene are calling "awesome". Makes me irate, honestly, I refuse to believe that kids are this stupid now...but then there's emo running around still and bands like Brokencyde. Our future is looking grim, and I don't mean grim in the traditional dark industrial sense, like the bad sort of grim... Editing to note that Nocker recently forced me to stand corrected about newer industrial/electro by introducing me to new bands that aren't the repetitive bland regurgitated-watered-down-techno types. So there is SOME hope in the world left I suppose.
  18. Somewhat of a closer call now than I could have said years back, but still industrial/electronic. Reasons: Jarring disturbing wretched noises slathered in dark shit orchestrated in layers of anti-music reflects how I feel I am much of the time. Really that was just one reason in a long sentence, but still. When I was in high school I barely listened to goth rock and thought it was cheesy. In my early 20s I began to build more of an appreciation for the sound and the almost humble folk like quality that came with much of it. Whereas industrial is absolutely terrifying sometimes, I saw goth rock as being more eerie and spooky, so I would listen to it if I felt more toned down. Now I listen to a healthy helping of both genres, along with others I've picked up, but my heart still beats to industrial for the most part. Punk though? Going to get yelled at but, I really don't do it ever. Have heard almost all of it, but there's nothing there for me to reflect on or get anything out of that I feel is of value to me and I don't like the actual music, so I hardly ever delve into it. Pest on the other hand loves it.
  19. Yeah, well, erm...I was just backin' you up, man! Or I had a literacy fail...probably that first one though.
  20. ROFLMAOCOPTERZORZ! That isn't even a real internet expletive, but this was the FUNNIEST GODDAMN THING I'VE SEEN ALL WEEK (aside from the fact that I watched Black Dynamite again last night). I actually spit hot cocoa on my keyboard a little when I scrolled down to this, it snuck up on me, so thnx for making me eff up my electronics. I wish I could plus more than just one.
