  1. Trying not to think at all. Ma is in the hospital. I still don't know if she wants to stay with us. I'm not ready to lose my mom yet!
  2. Really messed up. I would love to know what those balloons were made of. https://youtu.be/n70I5IL7jOA
  3. I'm just aggravated because I hurt so much and my throat spasms every time I swallow. My baby sister acting like a know it all doesn't help. I need a nap.
  4. Dang it! That's the final straw! All I've been doing is tolerating other people's presumptions that they are correct in order to not start an argument and I am tired of it. The blasted cat said meow! That's why Mr. Edwards had to come off the front porch because after the third time I refused to go anymore so Ma called him and asked him to meet me. Those others are lesser gods. No, not drinking water will NOT give you food poisoning! Look it up you dumb brat! I was wearing my favorite red turtleneck and the flowers were red roses in the park! I had TMJ AFTER the collision not before you bullying hag! Yes, it is possible for a person to remember everything that happened in an auto accident. Yes! I was offended when you offered me hash! You already knew that would kill me because of my meds before you offered! Yes, it is possible to live off $1,000 a year, you Tweety Bird. And nuts to all the rest!
  5. The woman in Barstow, California who was arrested while 8 months pregnant needed to have her behind beat by her mother. This was a case of dual racism. The police officer is guilty for profiling her and allowing her rude behavior to anger him. She was guilty for profiling the officer and immediately disrespected him simply because his skin was light waving him off like a child, then called her boyfriend ignoring the officer. Now, this is also a case of sexism. The officer blew off the caucasian woman who called them in the first place. No one followed up on her or her complaint. It didn't help that she was blonde. He totally stereotyped her.
  6. This was a "DANG!" moment. https://youtu.be/4gSTPHBp9cA
  7. This is all you need to become an astronaut? http://spaceflight.nasa.gov/outreach/jobsinfo/astronaut101.html
  8. How a Tiger Prepares a Turkey. I like Keisha's method, but love Zeus's style. https://youtu.be/J-HvTaYsH7Q
  9. I'd like one right about now. A really nice cold treat. Maybe number three. http://www.smithsonianmag.com/arts-culture/a-brief-history-of-popsicles-92923396/
  10. I laughed so hard. Best reaction ever! https://youtu.be/NBQ-IzyhiWs
  11. How dare that middle school throw one for a bunch of snot-nosed, ungrateful kids, belittling that time honored tradition that students for decades put blood, sweat, and tears into for twelve years just to celebrate the end of compulsory education. The Prom!
  12. There's never a bad time to order pizza. http://www.popularmechanics.com/technology/a15405/hostage-uses-pizza-hut-app-to-notify-police/
  13. The Amtrak engineer fell asleep and doesn't even realize it.
  14. Why do they keep kiddie-fying anime? Yugio, Dragonball Z, Digimon, and more are for teenagers and up! Not seven year olds who only look at the screen when the action starts and can't tell you anything about the storyline. I am so sick of having to find bootleg copies of these shows in Japanese in order to hear what was actually said. Instead of the stupid, insulting tripe they write which makes no sense in an attempt to make some ungrateful brat, who is not even looking, laugh. I miss the days where cartoons, with great artwork, was for older teens and adults. I miss Dragonball, Robotech, G-Force, Tranzor Z, Gigantor, The Flintstones (prior to the 80's), Yogi Bear (same deal), and the original Tom and Jerry when Tom was still a tomcat named Jasper. FYI - tomcat means a male cat. Yes, I'm old compared to most here. My stomping ground ran from the literal tail end of the sixties all the way to the nineties. I owned eight track tapes. I played Tutankhamen. I remember when Mario Bros first showed up. My favorite computer was the Apple IIE. So yeah, I'm old but the older ways were some of the good ways. I still remember the day an eight year old child said yes ma'am to me. It made me feel so grown up. (I was in eighth grade mind you, but it still felt good.) It meant he respected me. Nowadays, you have to chew a little brat out just to get the respect you should automatically receive from surviving past 35 years. Well, I'm done with rambling for now. Laters.
  15. Irresponsible, self-centered little brats. Rewards are ignored. Punishment doesn't work. Lectures don't last. Conversing goes in one ear and out the other unless its coupled with a threat, which is soon forgotten. Can't kick them out. What's left?
  16. Isn't there the slightest chance that I might actually know what I'm talking about?
  17. Why does Snyder do these things? http://www.freep.com/story/money/cars/general-motors/2014/10/17/michigan-verge-banning-tesla-stores/17386251/

  19. Even in this day and age it isn't what you know but WHO you know.
  20. Oops! Running late now. Wah! Doctor appointments. Hope its short today. The waiting is the hardest part.
  21. As long as we continue to refer to other cultures and skin colors as a race, we will never break free from prejudice.
  22. Dang it! Now my elbows are hurting!
  23. My hands, wrists, lower back, face, and legs hurt. I hurt. I checked out of Ma's place early. I didn't want the kids to see me in this much pain. I was also upset because Ma started going to sleep instead of handling the kids. She always checks out and leaves them in my care. The doctors want her to begin returning to her old routine plus more. It seems my presence enables her to slack off and not bother. I hate it but I have to step out, especially when she starts refusing to eat. When she knows she's scaring the kids, she eats. Dang, I hurt.
