I have always been a fan of musical theater but the normal big ticket shows have never really caught my attention. I do enjoy many of the more famous productions but I have never really liked to follow the herd. I find out about most of the cult productions by word of mouth from friends and coworkers. I started this discussion so that we could share some of our favorite songs from any obscure musicals that we think should be supported more.

Let's see about a song that a friend introduced you to that you were surprised you like.

Got home from work a bit ago and was hungry. I made a nice fresh batch of country style sausage gravy and biscuits and stuffed my face. I am now going to lay here in a food coma daze and stare blankly at the computer screen.

A song that makes you mad.

I wouldn't say that I am locked into working but the best word I can use to describe my work is "Frustrating". Every time that they say that I will have a set schedule, they find some way to mess it up and switch my days around or simply take my days off away from me. I had a helper for a few weeks there but he went back to his truck driving job. He gave them a 3 week notice that he was leaving and they still didn't find me a helper or even schedule one of the cooks to help. Saturday night I was by myself washing dishes with over 180 resos on the books and even more walk ins. They had 4 bus boys, 8 servers, 6 cooks and a pastry chef on shift but they couldn't find me a helper. If they start listening to me and find someone to help, I will try my best to get Thursdays off. I just don't know when that will be. I am also looking to get out of the restaurant business all together. I am hoping to find a metal working shop or something that will hire me and teach me the skill I would need. I live in Novi so if anyone has some connections up here please hook me up.

I really wish I could join your family but I work from 4 till close that night. I am hoping that there will still be people at the gathering when I am able to get there but sadly that might not be until around midnight.

I miss coloring my hair all kinds of crazy colors. I think I might ask my boss if I can do some funky colors since I work in the dish area by myself and I always wear my hat even though I don't have to. He is personally a cool guy so I am sure he will say it's ok since it won't cost him anything. lol

I cooked the chicken and waffles last Tuesday. It turned out pretty good. I am going to make biscuits with fresh sausage gravy tonight. I am a junky for old school country comfort food. lol

Getting ready to head into work. This is the last night that I will have a helper at work for awhile. They can't seem to keep people working there. Sunday may be my last night off work until they can find someone else to help. I am growing tired of doing the work of multiple people at a job I don't enjoy to begin with. Oh well. That's just life I guess.

Warming up from a chilly ride. I didn't get out of work in time to make it to the gathering so my girlfriend and I decided to take a late night motorcycle ride to Denny's. It was a nice ride and that chilly wind blowing through your bones reminds you that you are alive. Still shivering now. lol

I wanted to come but I just got out of work and you guys left early. I thought goths were supposed to bring out the bats and everything. LOL. I might take the motorcycle out for a late night ride anyway.

I would like to come but I work tonight. Let me know how long you plan on hanging out there. If you are still there when I get out of work, I may be able to make it for the end.

I hope you can get stuff figured out quickly man. I know the being poor thing. I am just starting to get some of my money issues to a point where they aren't keeping me up all night and day.

I think I am going to get the bike out of the shed and put the new battery in it. Motorcycle season is upon us. Chicken and Waffles will be going on around 5 or 6 ish tomorrow if everything works out right. Get a hold of me if anyone is interested in trying Pennsylvania Dutch style chicken and waffles.
