I actually used to be a cosmetologist so I am more than happy to offer some advice if anyone has questions.

I think I am in need of some central PA style comfort food. I think I will be making some PA Dutch style chicken and waffles on Tuesday since I have the day off work. Belgium waffles with mashed potatoes, sweet corn, and savory country style chicken gravy. If anyone is interested in coming over for dinner to try some, let me know.

Stuck and a bit depressed and upset. I feel like I am on a bicycle on a treadmill watching people walking by as I peddle as hard as I can, not getting anywhere. If I stop peddling, I will just go flying backwards and fall on my ass. It's really frustrating and I don't know what to do about it. I know that everyone goes through times in their lives where they feel like this and I have actually gone through it myself a few times before. I always just bottled it up and ignored it. It's just getting harder to ignore and I feel like it is starting to take a toll on my personality. I never really wanted to be rich or famous or anything special so it's not like I have lofty goals that are impossible to reach. I just want to be stable and some what comfortable. I guess that is a bit to much to ask for though.

I finally had a day off work. I ended up spending the day cooking in my kitchen at home. I think it has been a pretty good day. lol

Just finished cooking Shepard's Pie Baked Potatoes. I am about to bake a few Wet Bottom Shoo Fly Pies.

I am thinking that I work way to much and have been neglecting my DGN friends.

I haven't been talking much lately either. I think that's mainly due to the fact that I haven't been doing anything other than work lately.

I need to make friends with someone who has some metal working experience. I have a few projects I need to get started on when the weather is nice. One of the projects is a bar for special events at the restaurant my girlfriend works at. I am planning on using some old school tricks that I haven't used in over 16 years.

I am sitting alone, in the dark, listening to old David Bowie vinyls. I love my record collection but I need to find some more really good old ones. Someday I will have friends to hang out and listen to them with me. Until then, I will just settle for the warm sounds and crackle and pops that comes with the joy of old LPs.

I just got a turntable so I can listen to my old vinyls again. I think I need to make some more friends so I don't seem like some sort of hipster sitting alone in the dark listening to LPs.

We also made a cornbread crust breakfast pizza with hollandiase sauce, bacon, scrambled eggs, and cheddar cheese. There were many other pizzas made but it is hard to list them all but it was all kinds of random cooking kitchen fun.

No set time. I have the day off so I am just going to make pizzas all day and people are welcome to stop by anytime. I even have some of my coworkers coming over that night after they get out of work.

It is also my dog's birthday so you would have to at least give her belly scritchies as well. lol

This is sort of off topic but. I am planning on making pizzas this coming Tuesday, Feb 2nd, for my birthday. Everyone is welcome. I am starting to plan out what all I am making. All of the pizzas are going to have stuffed crust but here are my ideas so far. Chicken Alfredo Chicken Fra Diavolo Hawaiian Pepperoni and bacon Cheese steak with peppers and onions. If anyone would like to give a suggestion or come and join in the festivities, please feel free to let me know.

I have a splitting head ache and my back is killing me. They are redoing our dish area at work so I am having to hand wash everything for the next few days. The low sinks are killing my back. They gave me a hose to help spray dishes down to make them easier to scrub and the damn thing exploded on me at the end of the night and flew up hitting me right in the face with the nozzle. At least that is one day down. Hopefully only 2 more to go before I have my dishpit back.

I am not looking forward to this coming week of work. We are getting a whole new dish station installed which means that they have to demolish the old station first. 3 days at least of hand washing while they do the work. I am really looking forward to having a nice clean station with steel walls and new counters though.

I am sure we could even do a Pot Luck get together once it is warm enough outside. Meet up at a park or something and have a picnic.

I am currently cooking a Chicken Alfredo pizza. I will hopefully be eating it soon.

I don't know the area very well yet. I live in Novi. My place could handle a few people but I feel that some people might feel awkward due to all the animals we have. Weekends aren't the best for me because I tend to work late on Fridays and Saturdays. Sundays wouldn't be to bad since I get out of work between 9 and 10pm. I am cool with hanging out as long as I get some advance notice so I can figure out how to get there without getting lost.
