Relaxing after work (got home before 6 lol only cuz i didn't change clothes :D) Debating on a couple things.

Procrastinating in making sure I have everything ready for work tomorrow. And have the minor mental debate on staying up through the night in the attempt of getting more done and completely fuck me over tomorrow during work.

Like I didn't get everything I wanted to get done these past two days. Between going to see the father (Sunday was calls like every 5 minutes for a half hour/45 min), and general running around for packing stuff for eventual painting. Hopefully I'll get something done tomorrow after work.

I plan on being there and a card if possible.

That I should take a hot bath tomorrow after work; maybe that'll help with the sore legs. But there's other things I need to take care of.

I have two I'm reading; Shadow Scale by Rachel Hartman (hard copy) and The Dragon Throne by Ava Richardson. I have Timeless by RA Salvatore on standby after Shadow Scale.

Sore; boss was gonna give me a break (about 2 hours into shift), but figured I could wait. Needless to say, I had no break today.

I hope not either. My current place likes me too much. And I wanna believe that I've made myself too indispensable to fire. Or be glad to see quit. Of the five that signed on to be utility/dishwashers, I'm the only one left. One was fired/quit before the construction wall came down. One walked (quit) quoting "too many people in the kitchen". One left us for another airport job. And the last quit stating over group text that he "found a better job". So, I'm OG; along with the few that are still there after the orientation way back in April.

I'm sure I'm gonna know that feeling.

Nearly had a mild meltdown/break down at work when the aunt who's been helping with the paperwork with the father. Turned out the aunt needed the reset password and pin for a work related account. My mind decided to run with the whole 'he died, but they don't wanna say when i'm at work" scenario until I learned out the previous needed info.

Chilling for a short minute after being sent home early (it was a quiet day even with a break); waiting for a friend's plane to arrive (and waiting what seemed like a stupid long time for luggage), drive around for her to grab a few things from Meijer/restaurant, then home. From the restaurant to where she's staying: ALL RAIN AND FLOODING. I had to detour around a few deep spots and one spot I had to drive through (not serious at the time). That was fun. With luck the drive to work won't be as bad in the morning.

Helped with that yesterday with my mom. She and a family friend works with a heating/cooling company out this way, and they clear out the pallets from their lot.

Tired since I didn't have to be up at 6 in the morning now that my work schedule shifted around a bit. Get through today, take a short nap after work, and have a short work day tomorrow.
