The Gathering is canceled. Restaurants statewide are closed to dine-in customers as of 3pm today.

I use the bottles because my cats think knocking the glass of the nightstand is their nocturnal mission in life.

I'm tired, as always. This coronavirus thing is annoying in many ways, because I'm immunocompromised and can't find the things I need in the stores. No bottled water to be had, and that's a big one for me. I'm having groceries delivered tomorrow because they are running a good 30 hours behind, so I couldn't get the usual 2 hour window. But, I'm tired and as healthy as I get.

I'm drinking water. And I may have to resort to tap water soon since I can't find any bottled water in the store

I just had pizza. It was blah.

My brothers are in town and if they actually bother to see me, it will be Thursday night since they fly out on Friday. But I would like a card if I make it. My brothers usually ignore my existence anyway...

Honestly, I don't think "soulmates" exist. I don't know if that's due to cynicism or just experience. I do know that there have been people that I feel an instant bond with, and sometimes it's in a friendship sort of way, sometimes it's sexual, and sometimes it's much more. I believe that everyone is compatible with a lot of different people. It's just a matter of investing the time and effort into a relationship that matters. Initial attraction is pointless if both people don't put in the work necessary to keep the spark alive.

I'm going to try to be there, and I'd like a card. A lot depends on how much pain I'm in that night... but if I can, I'll be there!

Finally writing out my holiday cards, now that I finally have the labels ready. The "family newsletter" is done for those who enjoy them, and then I can be done for another year.
