  1. My feet/ankles have been swelling SO badly... I have compression socks and can't wear them because I can't even get them on with help. Yes, the swelling is that bad. I am thinking I'm eating too much salt because we're getting takeout too much... but cooking sucks.
  2. Subway club on white bread with lettuce, tomato, a little mayo. And a caffeine free diet coke
  3. I SHOULD be doing some laundry right now, but I'm procrastinating and will do it tomorrow.
  4. https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/3IHAH05L6W9ZD?ref_=wl_share Here's mine.. it's got about 20 items on it, but the furniture and stuff is for my own reference if/when I upgrade my home office.
  5. I cleaned out my kitchen cabinets today of all the old plastic serving dishes, plastic bowls/lids, etc. and I'm about to go finish putting away all the new Tupperware I got delivered. Yay for getting rid of cheap kitchen crap!
  6. I've been re-reading my journal from 2004 to 2018... archived LiveJournal. I'm realizing that I've been unhappy for a very, very long time. It's disheartening.
  7. I'm thinking that it's going to be hard to go to work on Tuesday after working from home since March 24. I've been getting up an hour later because my commute has been 25 feet instead of 10 miles. But it will be easier to do my job actually AT the office...
  8. A friend's mom died last night from COVID-19. She was completely healthy, no underlying issues, got it.... fought it for a month. Got on the vent, got better, got OFF the vent, and then took a turn for the worse and got back on it... and then died. Another friend's mom just tested positive. She's 80 years old and lives in a memory care facility for Alzheimer's patients. She likely won't survive either. I've known several people who have died from this and I'm SO VERY ANGRY at certain family members who believe it's just like a bad cold or the flu, or it isn't real and is just a media conspiracy to destroy the economy. Or local people who refuse to wear masks anywhere because apparently it infringes on their "right" to go to Hellmart to buy shit they don't need. Honestly, if I weren't so antisocial when life is "normal" this would have made me a hermit. Now I'm a hermit by necessity since if I catch the virus I'm unlikely to survive. But apparently that doesn't matter. People think nothing of doing stupid things and then expecting to actually be around me.
  9. Cats win. Not only are they cuter, they can be sneaky
  10. Sitting at my desk binge watching episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation... and waiting for a delivery of baked goods that I ordered so that my neighbor's little kids will have some treats for Easter
