Wrecked my car twice coming out of Michigan in that winter storm last week, it was brutal... exciting though I guess, and still made it back to Ohio/West Virginia borderlands anyway.

Back in Michigan, for a limited amount of time.

I reckon so, I've used them in this situation before. I just don't have any refill cartridges right now.

I wear them year round. Multiple layers of clothing. And now I'm gonna go freeze in the cold for a cigarette again. Non smoking job site too.

Same as we always do... make it happen no matter what. We're slave laborers that must get it done no matter what. Arrived in Kansas City okay after a heck of a day in ohio.

Holy crap we're stuck having to get tires on the work truck! The back tires are shot, roads are ice, trailer don't have brakes, the 4 wheel drive quit working, and its sunday in rural country ass ohio so no tire shops open... just walmart and their computers are down so they won't even take vehicles in to work on um. Whole crew sittin at our lead's house calling around lookin' for a tire shop and gonna be late to the job if we can't get it done.

Sit in McDonald's parking lot and torrent episodes of Game of Thrones on their wifi for a few hours. I miss my fast 4g internet connection so badly.

I did hoard back some cash, and my stash of silver coin (which I had to sell off some already) ...but with this business the "just in case" situations often come with little or no warning. I'm glad to have people like those on this forum that care though, it means a lot to me. Hopefully I'll rise from the ashes again as I've done before, and as long as the work and contracts pick up pace I'll be back on my feet again one day.

Looks like it may be alright. Got word to head back out on the road again. We're in the slow season at work so I'm surprised that another build came up at all, thought I'd be stuck in ohio til the end of the year. I appreciate you asking tho, you all on here are awesome. My favorite forum. Hopefully I can get my phone turned back on after this job so I'll be able to get online more again.

Stranded in rural southern ohio with no money and my cell phone shut off... and there are not many wifi locations nearby which i can use it from.

Trying to use as much internet as possible before verizon shuts my phone off.

Using an aerosol can and a lighter as a flamethrower to kill off hundreds of gnats in a kitchen that looks like it was abandoned long ago.

About to take more vicodin and clean Echo's house since I'm the only one awake and there's nothing to do.

I have nothing to do, nowhere to go, and I can't go back to sleep. So very bored.

Thinking of dying my hair again. It's dyed titanium grey colored now.

Sore still. Fell and landed on my left hip bone on one of the forks of the forklift at work a few days ago.

Now the slow season of work is here. There is no next jobsite to go to, I'm stranded in Michigan with next to no money left and my cell phone is going to get shut off cutting all my internet access off =[

Ohhh, i loathe Staples remodels and their disorienting long hours of night work. Now we are past completion date and have to work days instead. Gonna be even more disoriented as to what time, date, or year it is.

Continuing my absence from the job, check didnt show up again, sent the owner a 20 page email detailing my situation. Anyone looking for a carpenter? This not getting paid and starving to death don't work out well.

Feel bad about abandoning my friends and kinsmen in the middle of Staples remodel but since the dick owner hasnt payed me from when we were in Indiana still... which really screws me over. Internet and phone are soon to be shut off. It was nice knowing you all.
