  1. I'm about to go see if the goodwill store is open today...
  2. Pris Stratton: "let me tell you this one thing about Gary Numan." me: "don't talk to me about Gary Numan, i don't want to hear it" Pris Stratton: "yeah but get this... not only is he a pop star, but he's also got a pilots license, how cool is that?" me: *sighs* Anyway seriously, i think Autechre has some good dark gothy tunes even though they're an IDM/glitch/ambient experimental type of group and there are no lyrics or words. A couple of great tracks that come to mind are 'Teartear' and 'Arch Carrier' ...there are many more good dark Autechre songs out there as well if you're into that sort of thing.
  3. same thing i slept in; very dark grey ecko jeans with tan & brown stitching, black NIN with teeth tour shirt with tan print, my usual skeleton key on a chain collar, glasses with fractured lenses, and what is left of the black plastic bracelets that have grown too tight and aint came off in years.
  4. hmmmm... that reminds me, there's something else that the government made illegal and i can still go buy it anytime, anywhere in any american town no matter how big of a city it is or how small the village might be... actually i can think of several things. Look how badly prohibition of alcohol worked out in the 20's. America's a big place with a booming black market, i don't even live inside Detroit, i bet theres a lively black market industry there. Where theres a will, theres a way... especially in the usa, law or no law. of course the laws make it a lot easier to prosecute, but most criminals-for-life don't give two sh!ts about what the law says.
  5. Falling Down, one of my all time favs. Obviously i never watch any new movies, i just watch the same old ones over and over and over... i am a relic from the past. Next i'm gonna watch Requiem For A Dream, a classic disturbing subject matter kind of movie that i know an love... and it has a catchy music tune as well as some wonderful sound effects.
  6. Yeah, i really miss the days of being able to walk into a good record store and buy stuff like this. Magnolia Thunderpussy in columbus ohio was always a good spot but i aint lived there in years, and last times i passed thru they had cut back their stock of industrial, electro, and goth music quite a bit. i still prefer to go into a store and buy stuff, but it just cant be done most places nowadays, i wish someone would open up a bad-ass and diverse record shop, i'd go to it.
  7. i feel pride in my multiple televisions of varying size and age all stacked upon one another like a mechanical orgy of antique television sets.
  8. I'm looking for a good tasty coffee creamer, does anybody have any suggestions?
  9. the vibe is big... the room is small...
  10. hey you welcomes! but really the q list is a tradition that dates back thru many generations of forum members though, anyways... later.
  11. Very good point Phee! :D There's a big difference between regulation and prohibition. After all i'm sure there are some people out there who none of us would want to have owning a firearm... like the clearly mentally handicapped and/or drunk guy i saw laying in the yard outside a public library peeing into his hat, screaming and spitting at automobiles, drinking wine out of a paper sack, and making loud racially charged rants to strangers who walked past him... yeah, i could deal with that guy not having a thompson sub-machine gun, maybe. But regulation can be a slipery slope also, control in the wrong hands can become strict enough to the level of absurdity making it nearly an outright prohibition. Its up to citizens to be vigilant, keep an eye on what government does with the laws and make sure that our rights are kept intact. Surely what goes on in congress is much more important than what happens on americas next top model, isn't it?
  12. I feel like i slept in far to late and now i'm just not going to get out of bed at all.
